Things of Nightmares
Svalin woke to find herself lying on the ground. She blinked. What had happened? The last thing she remembered was being attacked. She didn't see the attacker, but the world went black and she woke up here. Where was here?

Svalin pulled herself to her feet and looked around.

The world was desolate and had been destroyed at some point. Where in Hel was she and what had happened?

With the Defenders preoccupied with their own worst nightmares, LA was left wide open to attack.

Nightmare entered the mortal realm on his mount Dreamstalker. Behind him came some of the inhabitants of his realm. Succubi, demons and other things of people's nightmares followed him. They moved through the streets of LA waves of fear following in their wake.

Residents screamed and tried to run from the walking nightmares.

	"Aw, hell,' Toni muttered. "Not good." And not good on a lot of fronts. Bad enough, of course, that the Defenders seemed to be missing. But in all honesty? Sometimes she was convinced the godlings attracted more trouble than they prevented. Far too many supernatural or godly menaces had struck at LA since they'd set up shop there. 	Pushing her sunglasses up her nose, Frances nodded to Orlen once everyone was ready. "Jump us there, we should work containment until someone finds out what's happening." 	"What he said," Frances pointed as Eiltin went past. "If they aren't here, then the reason this crazy is will know. And the crazy's currently trying to eat people, so handle them first. 	"Oh boy there all over the place, I;ll set up wards keep them as contained as possible." He shot a light beam at one of the winged creatures as he fell. 	Grabbing some of the fire and lightning arrows, Frances picked off creatures as to drive them back. She eyed a coffee shop's patio awning and climbed up on it. Boy, there was a lot of these things. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He kept concentrating the blasts in killing or sending them all back where they came from. Most where getting killed off one by one. He caught a family teleported them away then got back back into the fight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Sorry I'm late," Emily apologized, sinking a cutlass into the back of one of the nightmare creatures. She had a cutlass and each hand, and one gripped at the end of her tail.
