After the auction, before meeting Svalin and Vernique
Jordan didn't at all mind the looks of the woman who bought him, though it looked like she was talking to a friend... who he also doesn't mind a bit. However, observing certain other details, something else grabs his attention.

He heads over to the girl in the wheelchair. Well, the one that isn't Mel.

"Miss McCoy?"

...Sylvie didn't normally think like this, but 'someone who thought he was getting bid on by a hot heiress and then got handed off to the girl with no legs, maybe,' popped into her head anyway.

But she looked up with a smile when someone addressed her. "Hey there. Oh, you're Vernique's. She's that way."

"Au contraire, mon Belle." he responds with a smile, crouching down a little to be closer to eye to eye.

"Bought and paid for, but they're still tending to a little business. I'm not sure how excited her friend is about the impromptu double date, so I thought I'd come over and apologize as best I can on behalf of my gender, and see if perhaps you'd allow me to make up for Mr. Caine obviously not recognizing a good thing when he sees it. Are you free this weekend?"
