[Chase stared at the parallel bars set up in front of him, his wheelchair pointed toward one of the open ends of it. He was supposed to be waiting for a nurse or some kind of spotter before doing this but the Crow couldn't stand being in the damn wheelchair a moment longer. He hated being helpless like this and having to rely on others for so much of what he used to be able to do on his own.

A glance at the door and he put the locks on the wheels, grabbing both bars as his feet set on the ground. It felt odd, the floor under his bare feet again and Chase looked down at them only to give a rueful laugh. They looked pale and weak, but he hadn't lost much muscle mass in his legs which was something he was thankful for. His arms he needed to tone again what with not being able to lift weights because of his ribs. At least he could do that now in his wheelchair, the doctors said his ribs were as good as new again but to lay off doing any squats with them for a few more months.

But he dallied long enough, hoisting himself up onto his feet and pushed up with them as well. Immediately they started to give, knees buckling and hurting. Chase bit back a curse and pulled himself up again, arms shaking with the effort but he managed to support his weight long enough to lock his knees. Even if he was panting with the effort.]

Ha... This'll be longer than I thought...

[Nope, not help at all. Though not having Innocence would. And the different scars. And the pointy teeth.

He was...sort of, when he was that age. He was like any other teenage of that era. Chase just wants to take it slow, just hand-holding and cheek kisses for now until their first date. Depending on how it goes...a chaste kiss. He wants to win over Allen's heart properly.

Zane will go off to his bed and curl up on it.

Chase looks up, hands on the wall trying to steady himself as he tries to get one leg over the side of the tub.] Canno' even get out o'tha damn tub.

Then it's a good thing Chase has a few good years on him, time to grow out of that. ...Chase you are oddly romantic when you want to be.]

You probably should have rested before you tried this... [He looks pretty worried, though. Stepping over, and moving Chase's clothing onto the sink, just in case he can't hold himself up for long after getting out of the tub. And then he moves so that Chase's good arm is around his shoulder, and Allen has an arm around his waist. He was shorter than Chase, but this was the best he could really do for him.] Ready?

Then again if he were younger perhaps then Vampvi wouldn't have gone elsewhere for his bedmates. Then again, maybe it wouldn't have mattered. ...Blame the damn books.]

I wanted ta be clean. [Grumbles and lets Allen move where he needs to, accepting the vampire's aid to get out of the tub and reaches over to the counter for his boxers, they're first on the pile. Skip over the nuances of getting dressed? And he smells like him again!]

	[Nope. Chase laughs shortly, letting Allen help him. And don't think he doesn't notice that Allen isn't looking. 	If you're sure... [But he doesn't wait for Chase to say much of anything else on the matter before he moves around to grab the handles on the chair again. [Chase reaches back and lightly flicks his hand.] I donna wanna sleep right now, knock it off. [He's determined to stay awake but his tone isn't overly harsh. The nurse and his therapist are waiting and Chase spends a bit of time talking to that person and instead gets a schedule from them since he seems determined to do it himself.

Then he gets a sleeping Seren and holds onto her tight as they leave the infirmary, nose pressed into her hair. The nurse will follow.]

[Pouting a little at that, though he switches to a more... upbeat song. Probably just something random to hum, really.] Sorry... I will.

Lingering nearby while Chase talks to the doctor and nurse, relatively protective in posture - but he stays quiet throughout the exchange. And mostly quiet as they start leaving the infirmary, shooting the nurse a few less-than-subtle looks as they go - though whether he realizes he's doing it or not is anyone's guess.]

Can be! Chase tells the nurse how to pull out the mattress from the couch and where to get sheets for it. He'll let Allen wheel him into his room and help him put Seren into bed. Something that's harder to do what with her clinging to his shirt.]

When Seren clings to him in her sleep, Allen leans down and noses gently at the top of her head, murmuring something that sounds like nonsense but also rather calming while he tries to very, very carefully pry her little fingers off his shirt.] It's bedtime, Seren...
