I'm feeling a little bit gay right now. Am I the only one? I think it's the weather... such a lovely day, isn't it?

Speaking of... Sam, do you still need help with your Transfiguration homework? I've just finished doing some reading and got naught to do right now, so I wouldn't mind helping. Chilly weather makes me generous, you know. Doesn't last long, though, so you should take advantage.

And how amazing is it that Professor Babbling has a friend offering an apprenticeship on Curse Breaking, in Rome? I overheard her talking to some students after class was over and well, I didn't hesitate to show my interest, if only for the experience; I've never been to Rome! Except for that one time when I was like 3, but that hardly counts. Besides, Rome would be the perfect place to get started on that book I want to write, don't you think?

My dad works at the Prophet if you need any connections to get your book out there.

And Rome sounds nice.

That's rather lovely of you, Charles. Thank you, I'll keep that in mind.

And it does, doesn't it? And those Italian boys... nice thing to look forward to.

You're an eavesdropping wench!! The point of the apprenticeship is to actually experience curse breaking....not write a bloody book.

Really, now? I had no clue. Thank you, Finch-Fletchley, for such an enlightenment.

You're not even interested in the work are you? I bet you're one of those travel slags that'll go anywhere as long as it has an exotic name. Seriously enter the entertainment business if all you want to do is fuck muck around and travel.

You don't know me, Finch-Fletchley, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stop making assumptions about me. I'd also appreciate if you showed some respect; you don't see me going around publicly calling you a close-minded tosser, now, do you?

And what has you so upset, anyway? Scared I'm going to get this, instead of you? You do right in worrying.

I'm not upset I'm not worried. I've known about the damn thing for a week now. And I didn't have to eavesdrop and interrupt a conversation to get in on it either.

You can't possibly be blaming me for the fact that Professor Babbling speaks too loudly.

And it's okay to be upset, Finch-Fletchley. Really. If it makes you feel any better, I'll send you a letter from Rome, with a pretty picture attached to it.

Eh, the weather is making you gay? Rome isn't that hard to get to with a port key, Morag.

I do believe that's what I said. Certain weather makes me happy, what's so weird about that?

And what's with you Hufflepuffs and pointing out the obvious?

Oh, that kind of gay. There's nothing weird about it, I get you.

No idea. What's with you Ravenclaws being heavy on the generalising this week?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]morag

It's hardly generalising when it's the truth. First Finch-Fletchley, now you. Who's next? Jones remarking about the sky being blue?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]summerby

C'mon, Morag, how is that the truth? Two people acting similarly isn't reason enough to poke your finger at an entire group of people. Or three people acting similarly, for that matter, if Jones does get an itchin' for pointing out the sky being blue.

If it's so clearly easy for you to get a port key, anyway, why do you care about some apprenticeship in order to get you there? I've been to Italy a couple times.

I think Rome sounds like an excellent idea, but I hardly think that you'd need an apprenticeship in cursebreaking to get there.

Now hold on I'm not out to drive a knife into your back, I'm just saying that yes Rome is a perfect place to start your book I'm just wondering why you're thinking of the apprenticeship , you could just come with me in the summer. Unless you're interested in cursebreaking...which then I think it's a fanastic idea all around.

Love, I look out only for you!

But of course I'm interested! You know better than anyone else that I wouldn't waste my time on something I have no interest in. Just because I didn't prattle on about how amazing curse breaking is, doesn't mean I could care less about it.

And I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone

I know, love.

No you're right I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that I was just taken by surprise, I guess I read it as you taking advantage of the internship without caring about it. That's stupid and I'm a prat. No one should have second guessed you, these bloody journals are only giving more to the gossip fire. They're all hungry for it.
