The Rules

1. There ARE no rules! Seriously, the idea is to read 50 books in a year. Whether you know how many you've read since January and want to start from there, or whether you want to start from the day you join and run your year into next year, it doesn't matter.

2. Yes, a childrens book counts as one and War & Peace counts as one. Besides, this is your challenge and everyone has different reading abilities. The Community is just a place to share your reading experiences and log your lists.

3. You don't have to stop at 50! Plough on through the libraries of the world, clock up high totals, beat your personal best!

Feel free to use the following book rating system (and add your own ratings if you desire!)
! = I would recommend this book
* = no opinion
- = I would not recommend this book
r - required for school
i - intellectual novel, not for casual readers
c - comedic
t - tearjerker
h - historical fiction
