"Wh-why are you smiling?" Mari looked slightly horrified at her friend's lack of sympathy. "This isn't funny, it's serious! I don't remember a thing! What if I-" Mari cut herself off, raising a hand to her mouth.
"What if I lost my virginity to Leon Shaw and I don't even remember? You're going to have to go down there and check" Mari stated matter of factly, pointing at her crotch.
Michi snuggled up to Mari, giggling, even though it hurt her head to giggle. "First of all, you would know if you lost your virginity. Are you lady bits sore?"
"It was Gael," she laughed finally. "We made a whole scene at the dance and I kissed him... I think... but not on the lips," she said quickly. "And we ended up outside, I can't remember how we got there. We might have been kicked out or maybe we just left. We were talking about taking showers together," she laughed.
"And I needed a cigarette. I told you to meet me on the quodpot field. That's when I ran into Grey," she finished her recollection of the night although it was a bit fuzzy.
As Michi explained, flickers of memories came back to Mari and her smile grew into a massive grin. "Eco-showers!" She cried happily. "Oh man, I am so happy it wasn't Leon" she groaned, suddenly feeling a whole lot happier. "But that still doesn't explain what happened on the quodpot field." Mari tried her hardest to think back.
"Well, at least one of our lives isn't over" she said, trying to make a joke.
Michi didn't really feel that much better but she laughed remembering the good bits of the night. "And something about bio-diesel," she added with a giggle. "I can't help you out with what happened on the quodpot field baby. I should have gone with you, fucking stupid ciggy butts, causing trouble and getting me to make out with stupid boys."
She just groaned at Mari's joke. "Ffffffffff, I'm never drinking again. Although eco showers were a pretty brilliant idea."
"Cigarettes are the devil's work, Young Michiko" Mari warned, grabbing a pack and flipping it open. "Which is why we should smoke them all and try and figure this big fat mess out" she added, cracking open the dorm window and stuffing her wet dress along the bottom of the door.
Michi pulled herself out of bed and joined Mari at the window. "Yes please," she snaked one of the cigarettes out of the package and sighed.
"Gregoire is probably the number one concern at the moment," she said lighting her cigarette. "Then Gael, oh I really hope he doesn't remember half the shit that happened last night," she sighed. "I really like him," she leaned her head against Mari's shoulder. She sighed heavily.
"Then there's Hunter... and oh my god can you imagine the looks on Keegan and Sim's faces if they ever found out?"
"He's a nice kid" Mari agreed, going on what she knew of Gael before last night, anyway. Much nicer than his brother. "You should totally do something with that, it might take your mind off Gray, you know?"
Mari gave a pained look and stroked the top of Michi's head. "I don't even want to imagine" she agreed,
"Yeah, that's true, I should get lunch with him," she said. "Definitely off campus," she added as an after thought. She couldn't stand the thought of potentially running into Gray while on a lunch date with Gael.
"Should we try to figure out what happened on the Quodpot field or are you content not knowing?" Michi gave her a little grin.
"Make him take you for ice cream" Mari suggested. "Ice cream cures everything!" Though Michi may have been feeling a little better, Mari's irritation with Gray seemed to be growing by the minute.
"Ugh, no. I'm sure it was nothing terrible. I mean, I didn't wake up sticky?"
"Mmmm... ice cream," she giggled. "It really does cure everything, well... everything except hang overs," she grumbled. "Can we just smoke ciggy butts and snuggle until our hang overs are cured?" she giggled.
She laughed even more. "Not sticky is always good," she smirked. "It was probably just silly stuff, maybe you showed him your third nip," she teased.
