Meka had been at the party a long time and was continuously sneaking into the woods to take sips from her flask. By now she was pretty drunk and bouncing around in her wonder woman costume. She found an ideal spot in the haunted woods to slip behind a charmed display to light up a cigarette and enjoy another drink from her flask.
At the very last second, Adelaide decided she didn't like her costume. Why the hell was she dressed like a referee? No one liked referees! Especially not her! She sulked and whined and agonized over it, but really had nothing else costumey to wear so it would have to do.
She tugged her socks up over her knees again-- her attempt at charming them to stay up had failed miserably. "I'm a fuckin' referee," she grumbled, pouting and swinging her whistle around.
"Is there something particularly wrong with that?" Leon asked, leaning in a little to kiss the back of her neck. "Just relax....try to have some fun, yeah?"
Besides, they made a matched set, as he was dressed as a Chelsea footballer. He needed his referee, right?
She wrinkled her nose. "Nobody likes referees." Nobody liked her either, so it was fitting, but she was wishing pretty hard that she'd gone with the 'sexy nurse' costume she'd seen a few days ago last time she was in town. She smiled goofily at the feel of his lips on her neck. "Okay, relax and have fun. Gotcha. Still not bobbing for apples."
"Can I go bobbing later? I know a pair of lovely ones I like best of all." He grinned at her, wrapping his arms about her waist as he hid his face in her hair for a moment.
"Why do we come to these things again? There are so many people I don't like here."
Addy's goofy grin was soon joined by a giggle. "Oh, so that's why you like Halloween, all the candy apples everywhere."
And as for all the people Leon didn't like... well, most of them didn't like him either. Or her. In fact, she didn't like them much right back, so his question was pretty valid. "'cause..." She thought about it for a minute. "'cause you get to ogle everyone's butt in their slutty costumes, that's why."
"Exactly, though...I like these right here best of all," he let a hand brush over her chest lightly as he squeezed her a little tighter.
"So you won't get angry if I stare at Abby's arse, then? I should have started this years ago." He grinned against hair, rocking her back and forth a little. "Come on, at least someone here better have spiked the punch by now."
She scowled fully at that. Leon always knew exactly what to say to foul up a perfectly good mood. "What is your fixation with her." It wasn't so much a question as it was a statement implying an impending tantrum.
She wanted to add something bitchy about the girl's costume too, but for once Abernathy was actually dressed nicely. A much better costume than her own, at any rate.
"It was a joke, don't get so pissy, yeah?" He hugged her a little tighter, kissing her shoulder as he looked about the gathered teenagers in their costumes. "I think you look great."
Addy wrinkled her nose. "You're only saying that because you can't tell if I'm wearing panties or not." It had been very difficult finding some that didn't show through the clingy fabric of her costume's shorts-- apparently worth it, though. She wiggled her butt into him as he squeezed her, enjoying the attention.
He laughed, pulling his hips away a little as he rolled his eyes. "You want to get me hard in the middle of this party? These shorts won't hide it, so you'll be left with it."
Letting go of her, he took her hand in his and pulled her toward the drink table with a bit of a grin. "Com'on, lets get something to drink, yeah?"
"Your boner, your problem." She declared with a cheeky smirk, following him to the drinks table compliantly. She nestled up behind him, much as he had been moments earlier, and curled her arms around his waist. "There's not going to be anything good, Thibaut's watching the drinks like a hawk."
"That's cold. Maybe I should go hit up someone else, mm?" He asked as he twisted a little to look back at her. "What you need is just a little distraction then. Really, I thought Yanks were supposed to be clever."
"...Did I say that?" He wasn't sure, to be honest. Also, it did sound like something he would have said, when angry....or high. Most likely both. "You go get his attention, I so happened to have brought my flask..."
"Nuh-uh. I'm still on probation; if Pendragon even thinks I had some idea this was going to happen she'll kick my ass out of school. Just go in the woods, like everyone else." She was quite certain there was more than just drinking going on in between the trees, but so long as the teachers weren't patrolling in there, anything went.
"I'm really fun," she pouted. "How are you going to get in my pants if they're an hour and a half away 'cause I got expelled and then grounded for life?" She butted her head against his gently and grinned. "I'm just thinking of your sex life."
She pouted at him, though a cheeky look sparkled in her eyes. "The one you seem determined to sulk out of having!" She caught up to him easily and, misjudging her own speed, almost tackled him into the woods. "I could have let you spike the pumpkin juice but then you'd have to share with eeeverybody, and not be in the nice private forest."
"What the fuck are you doing?" He asked as he stumbled into the wood. She'd tried to tackle him like they were playing Quodpot hadn't she? Bloody hell.
"Yeah well, my private party isn't very exciting. Especially since any wood I pop is my problem."
"God! So grumpy!" She squished him tight, partly to regain her balance and partly to stop him huffing off again. "I was kidding, okay? Besides, it's not like it's a problem right now." She moved her hands down into the front of his shorts just to check. "See? Not an issue. Shame really, being so quiet out here and all," she teased.
Leon was late. Mostly because he and Addy had spent most of the night (well, Addy spent the time while he waited patiently) trying to find a new outfit before giving up. Though, honestly, he would rather be in his room reading, watching a movie, getting high, getting laid. Just something other than standing in front of a bunch of people dressed as a Chelsea footballer. Not that he looked terrible, it was just...
Well it wasn't all that grand when look at some of the others.
Shaking his head a little, he bounced his football once or twice before heading toward the snack table to at least get a drink. Hopefully it wasn't still too early for someone to have spiked it.
It had been a good night so far, Halloween was one of Ella's favourites. This year her and Jenny had gone matched, as they had done ever year since they had been born practically. She was outside taking a breather and just trying to guess who was who in their costumes, taking off her hat and fiddling with it in her hands.
