Jenny/Sam

"I know what you mean," he said with a shrug. "I think there are a grand total of two kids who are sober," he laughed a little.

Sam looked over at the sophomores Jenny had pointed out and sneered at them. "Don't let them bother you Jenny. Bitches are always going to be bitches, right?" he grinned. "You want I should scare them off?"

Jenny/Sam

She smiled a little when Sam offered to put the run on them, shaking her head a bit. "No, let them be. I should probably get used to it, I'm sure people are going to be even worse when we get back to school," she replied. "Besides, El.. sort of told me what went on. I don't blame them for looking at me like that."

Jenny/Sam

Sam scooted over a little, reaching out and putting his arm around her shoulders. "I know Jen," he sighed. "It sucks right?"

"I've been that weirdo before, something happens and you come back to school and everyone is looking at you like you might snap any second," he kissed the top of her head. "They'll get over it and things will go back to normal," he said reassuringly.

Jenny/Sam

"Yeah, I know.. I mean, how long can they cling onto one thing for?" Jenny replied, sighing a little and resting her head onto Sam's shoulder, smiling just slightly. "Besides, with all of the shit going on at school lately, I'm sure something even more insane will come up eventually, and I'll be yesterdays news. Which is fine by me. If only my mom would let it go, then I'd be in heaven. She's been keeping me in solitary confinement since I got home. I'm a fugitive, you see.. Ella snuck us out."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: December 29th, 2010 08:10 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Right? There will be some new rumors circulating around for the rumor mill by Monday morning. You know people will go nuts tonight," he laughed a little.

"Oooo! A fugitive eh? Breaking the law," he said with a big grin. "I'm shocked and appalled," he teased gently. "Well, I'm glad that you ladies came out, everyone needs a break from crazy parents right?"
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: December 29th, 2010 09:07 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"I'm glad we came too," Jenny agreed, nodding. "Especially since this Christmas, my mother is the epitome of crazy. She gives crazy a new name, they are one and the same. At least my dad has been kind of letting us get away with a couple things, but.. I have a feeling he'd have a bird too if he knew we were out."

Sighing, she gave a little shrug. "Why waste a night though. You wanna dance or something? I hear from a close twinly source that you're a very good dancer," she teased, grinning.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: December 29th, 2010 09:13 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam nodded and laughed. "And what a perfect night to be surrounded by friends," he hopped up from the chair and held out a hand to Jenny. "I would love to dance and prove her assessment right with a spin or two around the floor," he grinned.

Jenny/Sam

Jenny grinned, accepting the hand up from the chair. It was the most moving around she had done all night, aside from actually walking in. She had felt too out of place to do anything else except sit there. "Thanks," she said simply, giving his hand a little squeeze as they made their way away from the couch and chairs.

Jenny/Sam

Sam smiled warmly and spun her around on the dance floor. "No problem," he said. He hated to see one of his friends looking so bored and alone at his party. "Nice moves Parry!" he said dancing to the beat of a bouncy song.

Jenny/Sam

Jenny laughed, letting herself be spun, careful not to trip over anybody on the somewhat packed floor. "It's nice to meet a boy who likes to dance," she commented, smiling back at him. "Charlie never took me dancing, I think he thought he was too cool."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 8th, 2011 11:49 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? He never took you dancing? What the hell is that?" he grinned. "What's not to love about dancing?"
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 02:16 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Right? But I guess he didn't want to hurt his moody bad-ass rep or whatever it is he's going for," Jenny mused, grinning back and shaking her head. "You know, you boys can be dumb sometimes. Especially the tough ones."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 02:28 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Ugh, people kill me sometimes," he rolled his eyes. "Bad-ass guys just don't know how to dance," he suggested.

"Moody, brooding dudes give us all a bad name," he said. "Tough girls are just as bad though," he smirked.
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 02:33 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Jenny moved closer as the music began to change, going from the previously bouncy tune, and into something slightly slower. She took both of Sam's hands loosely, swaying them to the music. "Are you saying I'm a tough girl? Because the one time I got dropped at practice, I definitely don't deny crying," she replied, smirking back.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 03:06 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Awww, I still feel really bad that you got dropped," he grimaced a little. "Cheering is far more dangerous than people realize. You have to be tough to be a Beau cheerleader," he grinned. "But you keep it real tough girl."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 03:11 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"People say it isn't even a real sport! Can you believe that? They obviously haven't lived it if they believe that," Jenny mused, rolling her eyes. "And don't feel bad, I wasn't focused. I shouldn't have been so squirmy. Plus, I volunteer to go up, no one made me! And one fall in two years isn't too bad.. just don't ever mention it to my mum. Especially now that she's on the helicopter-parent rampage," she joked.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 03:25 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Right?! Ina and I took gymnastics for years before we started cheering! No one knows how much training it takes to learn tumbling routines and stuff," he shook his head. "See, you are a tough chickie, I would never volunteer to get tossed up like that," he grinned. It wasn't like anyone on the Beau cheering team would be able to lift him anyways standing at a solidly built 5'10.

"But hey, maybe that common misnomer is a blessing in disguise since your mom lets you cheer. If she knew how brutal it really was she would never let you."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 03:32 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"I kind of just jumped right into it.. I never did sports before cheer, but it's like, amazing. I just never thought I'd be able to do something like this.. and it might be scary, but the rush when you get lifted? It's unreal!"

When Sam mentioned her mom again, Jenny managed a little smile, nodding her head. "I love her to death, I really do.. we never fought before this winter. We've never had any reason to. But now I feel like she's treating me like a delinquent or something. I hope she never really looks into cheer, because if she tried to make me quit, then we'd really have something to fight about."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 03:56 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Crazy right? Like your just flipping through the air and nothing can stop you," he grinned thinking of one of his favorite sensations in the world. Then he laughed. "Well, except the ground."

Sam smiled, he knew a thing or two about moms and their crazy fights. "I know what you mean," he nodded. "My mom and I never fought until... last summer," he shrugged off the heavy weight those memories held and smiled easily. "They just worry about us, it's a mom thing."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 04:02 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Is it selfish to wish that they could worry without clinging? It's like, a 180 from herself. She and my dad have always been such a couple of old hippies, we just did whatever, but now it's like living in a military camp or something. I just hope we get home before her-- that wouldn't be pretty," Jenny replied, pouting a little. "I guess I'll never understand a mom thing unless I'm a mom someday.. until then, I'm just justifiably frustrated."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 04:56 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam laughed. "Nah, I don't think it's selfish at all. I think it's... rational," he said with a nod. "I hope you ladies don't get in trouble," he frowned. "I will do my best to keep your field trip under wraps."

867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 05:00 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"I think we'll be fine," Jenny replied, shrugging a bit. "Mum and dad usually stay out pretty late every other year. At least three. So I think as long as I'm tucked in by one, she won't have a clue!"
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 06:05 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam laughed. "Well I will do my best to help you get home on time," he was still holding her hands, swaying gently to the music. "I think as long as I get this place cleaned up and ship shape by tomorrow evening, I will be in the clear too."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 12:19 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Do you parents even know you have people over? Or, should I say, this many people?" Jenny asked, grinning at him, twining their fingers together as they swayed. "My mother would have a coronary. Especially with the way some of these people are.. I think you're going to have a lot of cleaning ahead of you, hun."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 12:29 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

He laughed easily. "They think Bobby, AB, and a couple others are coming over," he grinned. "They have no idea that the entire school showed up."

"If my mom ever found out she may very well ground me until I'm eighty six."
