Re: Lisette/Jake

Jake held his hands up, palms forward, "I here what you're sayin', pretty lady! No gators for me...", he winked, "...unless they come in the form of shoes or a belt, that is."
"Water? Really?", he asked, surprised. Jake expected some strange exotic concoction from a Voodoo girl out of the bayou. "Water it is", he agreed, with a shrug.
Not sure why she was following him, but pleased for her company, Jakob slowed his pace and walked beside her. "Oh, ummm, haven't we met? Are you sure?", he tried to cover, "Well, let me formally introduce myself. I'm Jakob Frost. I'm a Junior in House Rienzi." He smiled brightly and offered his hand to her.

Re: Lisette/Jake

"Well, you can't go wrong with water", he admitted. Smiling, he segued her drink preference into another subject altogether, "Speaking of water, do you like to go swimming? When I was a boy, my father used to take us to our beach house on the gulf every Summer." He, of course, was imagining Lisette in the skimpiest of bikinis.
"We DO have some classes together!", he exclaimed, becoming rather animated. "Ugh! Transfiguration is probably my worst class! I mean, the concept is pretty cool. I don't know why I'm struggling with it."
Lisette's hand was quite firm in his own and her eyes were practically obsidian; Jake could feel his pulse begin to quicken as he stared into the mysterious depths of her eyes. "Ummm! Yeah, so here we are", he announced, as they drew up to the group waiting for drinks. He had pulled his hand away from hers before he blushed...or worse; especially, knowing she had no interest in him.

Re: Lisette/Jake

A dark arch rose over her brow as he posed his question of swimming and then his bragging about going to their "beach house" in the gulf. "Well, that dadburned watering hole done dried up on us and I caint go swimmin' no more," she snarked back. Considering she lived next to aligator infested waters and didn't have a pool, no... she didn't go swimming much.
She was glad when the subject returned to school and Transfiguration. It was her worst class, and clearly Jake didn't have it great there, either. "Me, either. I'm far better with charms and potions. If I find anyone to help me, I'll send them your way, too."
Her eyes slid away from Jake's face when he started getting awkward. She wanted to laugh, but she kept herself in check and just tucked her hands into the crooks of her elbows as she crossed her arms under her breasts. They stepped up in line and she took the glass of water as it was handed to her, sipping at it.
"Well, it was nice to meet you, but I should probably let you get to some of your friends. Have a good time. I'm sure I'll see you around once school starts again." She gave him a thin smile and then melted back into the crowd.

Re: Lisette/Jake

Jakob knit his brows, as Lisette went through her sarcastic reply to his question about swimming. What was her damage? With a smile he offered, "Well, you are always welcome to come and use our cement pond, whenever you want." He chuckled afterward to let her know he was just kidding around; he certainly didn't want any hard feelings.
"Thanks!", he was truly grateful for her offer of help if she found any, with Transfiguration. "Defense against the dark arts seems to be my best class. Not sure why, but I just really get into it, y'know?"
Wow! he was getting the brush off! Well, it was probably for the best. He and Lisette were so different and it was obvious she wasn't into him, so he needed to let her go, so he could find someone to connect with. "Have a fantastic night, Lisette! Nice stalking you!", he teased. He watched her go and couldn't help but appreciate the swing of her hips as she did.
