Rowan noticed her housemate standing there and decided that she should go and say hello at least. Making her way over to where Bekka was standing, Rowan smiled easily. While she and the other Sonnier weren't exactly friends, she had a lot of respect for the girl's intelligence and dedication to her work.

"Hey! Awesome to see you here. Having fun tonight?" She had a refreshed drink in her hands and sipped at it while she waited for the girl to answer.

Questions, as if out of nowhere Rowan was standing in front of her with questions. Bekka's immediate instinct to respond was no way to begin a new school year. So, instead she gave herself a moment's pause, finished her last drag of the cigarette and replied, as dry and dull as always.

"Of course I am." She started, keeping a good bit of the sarcasm from dripping off her words, "This is the high-school experience, who wouldn't be here?" Too late, as she finished the rest of her response Bekka fished out another cigarette and replied as she always has, "When I look back on my youth, I want to remember the sight of intoxicated youth and the smell of cheap beer. How about you Rowan? Good time?"
