Leon jerked his eyes up to Adelaide's face with a frown. Damn. She was here too, which figured. It didn't seem to much to get her to go out and party, getting her in bed though? Ha.
"I thought I'd see if I could talk you into sucking me off instead, is all." He replied, leaning in a little with a touch of a dark smirk on his lips. "But I didn't, maybe you're just not good enough. Could always ask Abernathy instead."
"Oh, well I suppose that explains her strange attraction to you. Neeeeigh." He leaned in, reaching around her for a beer as he made a show of sniffing the air around her.
One of her eyebrows quirked high on her forehead. "Hmm, I smell like bitch, but you still want me to blow you. Maybe you and AB should hook up, you seem to have that association between animals and sex thing in common."
"Maybe I should," he glances over Adelaide's shoulder, as if giving the idea serious thought. "But you have to admit, you still want me. You want me, soooooo bad that it hurts."
She sputtered. He'd hit the nail exactly on the head. Again. She did want him so bad that it hurt, but even more than that she was prideful, and she didn't want him to know it was true.
"For your information," she replied snippily, "I am more than happy with the quality of dick around since losing your dead weight."
It was time for another drink. How long that time was since his last, he had no idea. Nor did he have any idea what number drink this was as he already forgot how many he had already. Casey had enough to feel relaxed, social, and for the drinks table to almost turn into two as he approached it.
The near double-vision made selecting liquors rather difficult, so once he reached it, he had to blink several times before they focused enough for him to find what he wanted. Whatever that was. It wasn't until he was reaching for the coke for the rum and not-so-much-coke he was making that he picked up on the bickering pair. Casey only glanced up quickly before he kept an eye on the coke to make sure he didn't spill it all over the place.
That didn't mean he wasn't listening in. Whatever this argument was, it was going to be interesting.
"My dead weight?" Leon snorted as he took a swig of his beer, rolling his eyes. "You're the one that is too prim and proper to put out or shut up. You should really give up on the good girl act, duckling. I doesn't look good on you, I mean...Once cunt, always a fucking cunt. I don't think being a virgin's going to improve that package all that much."
He barely even noticed that Casey was there, his eyes trained on Adelaide as if she were the only other person at the party.
She glared at him, infuriated. "You don't know I'm a virgin! I didn't ever say I wouldn't have sex-- just that I wouldn't have it with you."
She sensed someone behind her at the drink table, and turned around. It was one of the younger students, Corey or Kevin or something. Casey, that's right. She'd flirted with him from time to time in exchange for small favours, like Charms homework.
A wicked grin crossed her face, and she grabbed him by his belt, yanking him close. "There you are."
One moment, he was feeling proud that he picked up the drink he made without spilling it. The next moment he was somehow managing to keep his feet and found himself standing next to the girl in the argument. It was Adelaide, that he knew once he got a better look at her; he'd helped her out with a few things for classes before.
Casey couldn't help but smile at her in the new closeness, not noticing that a little of his rum and coke had spilled over onto his hand in the transfer. That smile remained in the second it took for his mind to catch up. All he came up with was that he had no idea, but might as well go along with it. Why not? "Addy," his words were fairly well slurred as he spoke, "I told you I'd meet you over here in a bit."
Leon might have gaped at bit at the scene in front of him, just a little. How the hell could she possibly go from him, Leon Shaw, to this kid? He looked barely old enough to tie his own shoes!
"Are you serious, you bloody fucking....Merlin..." He took a swig of his beer again, arms crossed over his chest as he looked at Casey full on. "Mate, you're interrupting something here. Go on and scurry back to your sandbox playmates, yeah?"
She was indescribably pleased at the annoyed look on Leon's face, and whatever miracle of alcohol it was that had Casey playing along. It was perfect. She wrapped her arms around Casey's neck and pressed a little kiss to his lips. "Don't listen to him, baby."
His attention shifted to Leon with a look that reminded him that there was someone else here, almost surprised to see him. That attention shifted yet again at the feeling of Adelaide's arms going around his neck, getting him to turn his head directly into that little kiss.
The kiss very nearly derailed him. That he hadn't been expecting. Casey's cheeks turned just a slight shade of pink, or it felt that way, but he managed to keep himself on the little game. He let a hand rest on her waist, as he glanced at Leon before looking back at her. "Now why would I bother listening to someone who can't at least come up with anything better than immature little sandbox insults? You know me better than that, sweets."
"Hey....fuck....bloody fuck..." He growled, pushing away from the table with an annoyed expression. He started walk away then, before turning around and marching back to grab the back of Casey's shirt and physically haul him off of Adelaide.
"Mate, get lost. I was trying to converse with the little bint, if you don't mind."
"Don't mess with him, Fotze!" Rike had seen Addy manhandling her friend from afar, and knew he was too smashed to realize what she was really doing. Not that Rike was entirely sober, herself. Which is why she leapt into the fight with a right hook aimed at the other girl's jaw.
One thought chimed into Casey's head as he felt himself torn away from Adelaide by the collar of his shirt, looking into Leon's quite angry eyes: this was not going as planned. He didn't really know what the hell the plan was in general and had only been playing along, but being face to face with a rather angry senior had not been on his agenda.
Casey heard Addy shout beside him as he grabbed Leon's hand long enough to free his shirt, his muddled mind attempting to come up with a response when he heard another shout that didn't belong to the Lalaurie. His head snapped to the side just in time to see Rike launching her fist directly at Adelaide's face.
"Fuck!" Leon shouted, eyes going a bit wide at the sight of Rike joining the fray. Well, damn... His evening hadn't started out as planned, but things were getting widely out of control rather quickly.
"Adelaide!" Why he was even concerned was behind him. Rike had done the very thing he wanted to do, but it didn't seem to make him feel better. Letting go of Casey, Leon all but tried to shove the kid out of the way while daring to get between the two girls.
"You're a fotze!" Adelaide screamed back at Rike, completely oblivious to its meaning but pretty certain it was an insult. She was about to lash out and smack the little commie with all her fury, but then Leon was there between them and she was pressed to his side once more, as she had longed to be for months. It was sufficiently distracting.
Her jaw ached where Rike had punched her, but at that moment Rike was the last thing on her mind. She shoved against Leon a little, as if she were going for the other girl, but gave up quickly enough and leaned her weight on the drinks table, holding her jaw gingerly. "Fucking bitch."
With Adelaide's warmer Bruder back up getting between them, Rike backed off despite her less-than-rational state of mind. She spat at Addy and turned away to go check on Casey.
"You are very drunk, you will feel stupid in the morning."
Casey watched Rike's fist connect with Addy's jaw and he winced, automatically taking a step back from the two girls out of instinct. Leon's shove only made him take another awkward step back and slosh more of his drink on his hand. That rum and coke was slowly dwindling away and he hadn't really had any of it yet.
His attention turned to Rike as she turned to look at him, and his eyes went from her to Leon, then to Addy leaning on the table. He hadn't had enough booze yet to keep him from seeing his cue to leave. "Wouldn't be the first time," Casey moved to grab Rike's hand to get the two girls farther apart, "Come on."
"What the hell is your problem?" He ignored the other two, not caring what their own problems. Instead he turned to look at Adelaide, reaching out to gingerly touche her jaw.
"You need some ice for that." And seeing as he was the only sober one there, he realized he'd probably be the one playing nurse. "You should stop getting yourself punched."
"You're my problem," she grumbled. "You totally cockblocked me." She tried not to enjoy his touching her face too much, though his hands were cold from holding a drink and it was very soothing on her tender jaw.
But then, like always, he just kept talking. "It's not like I try to get punched all the time." She flicked his hand away, annoyed again. "I'm just prone to bringing out the animal in others."
"Stop it." Damnit. He was the sober one here. Scrubbing his hair he sighed, jutting one hip out to the side as he looked up at the sky. "Fuck me, Adelaide..."
He turns as if he wants to walk away, before grumbling as he reached behind her to grab a cup of melting ice. He held it up to her cheek, even smirking a little. "It you want to bring out the wild side, you know there are better places to do that, right?"
Adelaide scowled at him. "Apologize and I'll think about it." She sighed quietly and slipped her hand under his so that he didn't have to hold the cup to her face all night. She mightn't be completely sober just now, but she was pretty sure she could manage a single cup. "You can be a real ass sometimes," she added gently.
