Oh that was precious. Ginger couldn't help but behind her hand at the way Anna Ruiz treated her son. It wasn't a bad thing, but it was funny all the same. He looked so embarrassed.
Waving good night to the woman, Ginger turned to look at the churros with a bit of a skeptical look. She wasn't sure, but it looked like it was a mountain of calories in every one of those sticks. "Yum!" She said, pasting on her best smile as she looked back up at Sam. "I bet they are delicious."
So maybe lying to her date wasn't a good thing, but she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, right? She couldn't really tell them that she didnt want their food because, well, it would make her fat, now could she? That would be just plain rude. "Um, how about some water for while we watch the movie?"
At least one thing could be said- she had a fairly healthy-ish diet. When she ate.
