"...Zac Efron is totally not as hot as you, though." Ginger assured him, stepping out of the hug a little reluctantly. "They just..." Her eye caught her reflection in the mirror, and again she turned side long to look at her bust line. "They just...do that. It is something for them to fight about."
She sighed, resting her hands on her hips before turning to look at Sam. "Besides, like he'd sooo not be their type, you know? He's like...some geeky wanna-be rock star, and you are like...totally a rock star, and there for way cooler."
Moving to pick up her bag and towel, she bounced a little. "Phillip is letting us use his car to get down to the beach, so I hope you don't mind driving, cos like I don't have my license yet. I can grab us some water from the kitchen on the way out to the garage, though."

She smiled at him, dancing back happily. He was really the best, wasn't he? If only everyone else knew what she knew about what a fantastic guy he was. "Thanks," she said, honestly. "You look fantastic too." Planting a kiss on his cheek, she grinned. "Come on, Rock Star, here are the key." She handed over Phillip's keys, before making one final spin around her room. "Okay! Lets go!" "I don't remember what kinda car it is, though," she added belatedly as she opened the door. "Some Owie or like...something. I think it is Japanese."

Lexie moved back into the kitchen, leaning on his forearms as he sighed. "How are you even getting there?" It was probably a dumb question, as Ginger always had a plan for this sort of thing, but he figured he needed to ask anyway.
"Phillip is letting Sam take the car! You know, since he's gone off to where ever with his girlfriend thing." Laine was not her favorite person, if only because Ginger knew a gold digger when she saw one. "You know you wanna go, it beats getting stoned here all by yourself."
Lexie snorted, before looking at Sam for a moment. "Wouldn't want to interrupt your 'alone' time."
"Ug I'm like soooo not begging you, okay." She held up hands up, a bottle in each. "Be a looooser if you wanna be. Me and Sam are like, totally going to go have an awesome time though."

"Lexie's a doofus," she protested cheerfully, "his like, only goal in life is to like piss daddy off." Which was fairly true, given that it was Lexie's senior year, and he'd somehow managed to not make a passing grade in half his classes.
"Yeah, totally. Like, way more than me. Plus, no way I could ask mom, and Daddy doesn't let anyone else drive his car. And then Lexie only has his bike." She shrugged, "I'm gonna get a car this summer though! Lexie and Phillip said they'd help me pick it out!"
She opened the passenger door to the car, though, before slipping into the stylish interior. "Besides," she went on, "if you do anything to it, he just gets to make daddy pay to repair it. He says it is a win, win."

"Yeah, well," she laughed, "you say that now. But you never know, he might like ruin senior year!"
But then he was offering to go car shopping with her, and all she could was bounce in her seat and clap a little excitedly. "No! That would be like soooo awesome. Cos like, Lexie just goes on about stupid things I don't understand, and like....uh...even know, cos it is all so weird. And then like, Phillip just wants to buy another car for himself. Which is like, totally not cool, cos like he really likes some ugly cars."
Reaching over to the console, though, she hit the navigation buttons. Selecting the beach they were going to, a map sprang up, and a voice began to list off the directions for Sam. "There you go!"
