Space pirates attack! (Darkstars)
She had been with the Blood Wings for a little over a year. A fun crew to run with really. They fought and partied hard. They didn't care that by her terms she was still a kid. But she was starting to hate the Captain. They barely got enough food to eat. They hadn't seen decent pay in a few months and Sher was convinced that the Captain was now clinically insane.

Smuggling themselves onto a Cerberus ship to steal it? Just sounded like a very poorly thought out plan. She had tried to protest but had pretty much gotten cowed into it no matter how hard she tried to fight it. She had been pretty much forced to do it or get spaced. She didn't want to die like that so she was just going to have to hope she could ditch them and get the hell off that other ship.

It took them thirty six hours to go through with the plan. She was helped out by a krogan who had a soft spot for the angry young Thangarian. He slipped her the weapons she loved and they just looked at each other knowing it was show time.

The proximity alarms had gone off.

"Let's rock and roll," the yellow skinned Captain barked pulling out her combat shotgun.

	Alerron hasn't had cause to sleep in sometime, but he rests comfortably now, holding Katima close. Or, at least he was until the ships alarms went off. This is annoying. "X'Hal madness, if this is /another/ asteroid field, I will be talking to Cyrus about learning to fly this ship." Alerron grumbles. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Prince Yason hears the alarm klaxons and doesn't like the sound of this at all. He looks over to Cyrus, who is co-piloting. "I must check and make certain that First Wife is safe. I will return." the boy says, and goes to look for Mar'i. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Go. I'll be fine. And be careful, I'm picking up some pretty scary readings."

That's when Alerron is proven wrong.

"Guys. We've got company. Security is picking up Thirteen unknown people in the cargo bay. I detect heavy weaponry on them, by the readings I have I want to say it's space pirates," Cyrus announces.

He is of course feeding this into the crew quarters, which would include Alerron and Katima's room.

	While Aleea is distracted by firing up towards their friend up in the rafters two stocky pirates go after her. One rushes her with a sort of high tech club. It gives of flickers of light indicating it can deliver some kind of electric charge. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	The sniper had to dodge the attack. But then one of his friends who could fly threw out a bolt of green plasma at Alerron. Then three gun men on the ground started to fire upon Katima. The last flier moved to get the sniper out of the way. And one last person began to spider climb their way up a wall to get into position to start pasting Katima with explosives. 	Katima was wrapped around with her Indigo shield and she immediately started countering the the gunfire sent at her. She turns and fires her own blast at the spider-climbing guy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alerron is hit by the bolt of plasma, which eats through his costume a little, but does no real damage to him. He dashes forward and punches at the plasma flyer, trying to take him out of the fight. "Katima! Take down that sniper!" Alerron yells. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The gun fire isn't bullets, to be clear. It is a kind of energy projectile. They energy bounces around fizzling away but they keep shooting. The spider-climbing man jumps away and shimmers from view. And the plasma throwing man just laughs. That punch didn't quite hurt. Alerron will feel metal give way under his fist slightly. "You ungrateful little bitch," the Captain hisses pulling herself up out of the crates. She dusts herself off and picks up her favorite gun.

"Saul. Kill the other krogan. I'm going to kill the Thangarian whelp," she says with a sheer aiming her weapon at the young Thangarian.

The green hued krogan cracks his knuckles and pumps his shot gun. "Sorry pal, this is business. Gonna have to snuff ya out."

"Well you didn't tell me you went crazy," Sher snapped as she got ready to move. She didn't want to have to do this but no way was she going to die.

"Fighting Cerberus is insane. I don't know what the hell you're thinking. I told you when I signed on I don't kill, and taking this ship would mean killing. So don't you DARE call me a traitor. I'm a thief, not a killer," the Thangarian snaps feeling her heckles raise.

He cracks a smirk. "You're just a real saint, aren't ya? You're right. Don't care to do this. Sorry Captain, but I honor my clan first."

The Captain was enraged by this. "You're both traitors then. I'll kill her and then kill you, Saul."

Saul looks to Urdex. "I won't fight her. But you can do what you want to the Captain. But the Thangarian's a dumb kid with even dumber luck. I might not fight you, but you won't kill her."

	Sher is holding her hands up. Her gun is back on her belt and her sword is at her feet but she thinks she looks much more innocent than her Captain right now. 	Yason holds First Wife's hand and looks properly chastised, because he knows that First Wife is /not happy/ that he tried to aid her. He disliked his small stature immensely. He would have to discuss with Alerron how to learn to fire starbolts from his eyes and fly, so that he might be more of the warrior First Wife expects. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
