The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

	Jai spins at top speed, countering the violet ropes with black tendrils of his own, trying to slow Iris as well. "What's the with Stripperella Costume? "Love? Love is a /joke/ Iris! People who say they love you move on with your best friend or choose your sister over you, and they leave you to die when you pray over and over and over that they'll show up at the last minute and save you from a madman!" Jai yells, as the tendrils begin to overwhelm the darkness.

"I was alone when I died, Iris. No one came for me because no one gave a damn! Just like you're going to die alone. You and everyone here. Just like Mom died when I tore her heart out."

Warhawk is nearby and hears Iris when she calls out his name. He can't imagine what it must be like for her to fight her own brother. He can't imagine what he'd do if he had to fight Nic like this.

He can't imagine it, but he knows what he would do.

Flying toward Iris, Rex takes aim with his sniper rifle, aiming for Jai's head.

"Rest in peace, kid." he says, firing.
