The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

Red Robin lets Mia come to him. He has to time this properly, or he's going to be dead whether he wants to or not. He keeps his hands down at his side, reaching fractionally close to his utility belt for the items he's seeking.

He flicks a switch, arming each of the miniature grenades, three in all, to detonate in ten eight seconds.

"Just...make it quick, Mia." Tim implores.

When she's close enough, Red Robin slips one of the grenades onto her belt, and tosses the other two at her feet, then turns and runs for the edge of the building.

He already knows he won't escape the blast radius, but hopefully, she won't either.

I'm sorry, Mia.

	(GREED) "That's not how it happens anymore..." There's a hailstorm of orange-light arrows that descend on the Black Lantern. Zach descends from above, surrounded by constructs of Mia, Red Devil, Victoria, and other Shadowpact members. "I don't lose anyone anymore." He states with a maddened glee in his eyes. Tim Drake wishes he was dead just now, because the amount of pain he's in reminds him that he is still /very/ much alive. He's vaguely aware that Mia is speaking, which means /she/ is still alive...undead...whatever.

And now the orange light coming into view is not very reassuring at all, until he sees Zach.

"Zatara, you picked one hell of a time..." he starts. Then he sees the look in Zach's eyes and realizes two things.

1. That he's trapped between two of his friends, who also were dating at the time of Mia's death. Johnny Sprager couldn't get drama like this on his show if he /tried/.

2. This is going to hurt. A lot.

The construct of Mia, strong and powerful in her Speedy costume, wraps herself around Zach as the other constructs descend on her undead self. "Don't worry Red, you're MINE.
