The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

GK Prisoner-saluted in their general direction. "Be seeing you."

And back to whacking at zombies to hold them off as much as possible. Sure, it did about as much damage to them as a game of tag, but it inconvenienced them slightly, at least. Kept him alive, kept them from killing civilians somewhere else.

And then there was a particular, larger-than-usual vision of hotness.

	Joey morphed more fully, trapping a trio of Black Lanterns inside a dome made of himself. He turned his spare molecules inside into a rain of acid, not resuming a humanoid shape until he was sure they were temporarily out of it. "Probably not," he said. "I think it's a matter of conveying a particular sense of good humor rather than something 'works' or 'doesn't work,' you know?" GK said as he tripped another black lantern and stabbed through it's neck oh gods that was disgusting. "And it has the benefit of conveying that sense of good humor without putting the pressure on too fast the way immediate obvious crudity might." His makeup was half-covered in ichor.

	"Yeah. But the lanterns mean business, and they're going to do stuff -- I never had to slice through anything's flesh quite this dramatically before today. Now I keep doing it again, and again.
