Maria had heard about the battle on the island of Atlantis and heard Superboy had been hurt. News traveled rather quickly in the cape community, not to mention Terry was a member of the YJLA. Maria had to admit that she was a little worried. For Jon because he was hurt and the fact that something had seriously hurt him in the first place.

Still he was one of the few friends Maria had in this crazy world and she would pay him a visit to make sure he was going to be okay. Maybe to get him to smile too. The boy definitely needed to smile more.

She made a stop or two before going to visit him.

	Lois would show up separately from her daughter and a bit later in the day so that Jon's friends would have opportunity to visit him. It wasn't an easy thing for Lois to see her son injured. It was too much like too recent events. "How are you feeling?" (Reply to this)(Thread)

"I was helping in Atlantis, things were turning... Aquaman had been hit by the same thing that hit dad, but I didn't know that when I arrived. I took the first shot to the back of the neck. Same M.O. as before - invisible attacker, no help from super senses. Powerful magical attack, no doubt about it... then I got hit with another in the back, and blacked out in there somewhere. I woke up with Atlantean healers working on me... thankfully, they're good, and some have some magical training."

	Lois frowned. "So it's still out there, whatever it is." Lois didn't usually wear her concern on her face, but this time it was blatant. She'd lost her husband (though she'd gotten him back) and she'd put the cape on her only son knowing all the risks that carried...but him actually being hurt was a very different thing. There was an incident, years ago before you even knew how to walk...I think I'm going to have to dig my notes out on this. It's possibly nothing but it's worth seeing if there's anything for a lead." She leans down and kisses Jon's forehead.

"I'm just really glad you're recuperating. I think it would actually kill me to lose either you or Jo."
