Not Florence Nightingale
Maria had heard about the battle on the island of Atlantis and heard Superboy had been hurt. News traveled rather quickly in the cape community, not to mention Terry was a member of the YJLA. Maria had to admit that she was a little worried. For Jon because he was hurt and the fact that something had seriously hurt him in the first place.

Still he was one of the few friends Maria had in this crazy world and she would pay him a visit to make sure he was going to be okay. Maybe to get him to smile too. The boy definitely needed to smile more.

She made a stop or two before going to visit him.

"Next time I'll bring the music and find an appropriate outfit for stripping."

Maria grabbed a slice and sat down in the chair next to the bed. "Have you had any other visitors? You better have because you need to do something other than go over things."

He's not sure if she's kidding or not.
He's not entirely sure if he wants her to be kidding or not.

He takes a slice of pizza of his own. Food is good for covering up being at a loss for words, til he has a moment to recover.

He grins. "I didn't even mention your offers to get into distress some time. I just mentioned that I had a visitor with a girl's name, and she promptly offered to help you get into need of rescue."

"Gotcha," she said. "Tell her while I appreciate the offer, I'm quite capable of getting into situations where I need rescuing on my own. I even had proof." She held up her right arm that was still in a cast.
