Personal trust issues aside, dinner at GK's wasn't to be missed. Especially since Zoe still didn't cook. Mom off roaming with Jed meant that she was in an uneasy truce with the stove. And microwave. She didn't try to do anything fancy with the buttons and dials, and they didn't turn her attempts to produce edible food to dried out hockey pucks.

She was the last to arrive. GK didn't assign her anything to bring, so she came empty handed. Except for the Glock tucked in a holster at her back.

	Zoe's smile to GK, and by extension Eli, became a "Hey," to Joey. If she had a bullet for every guy who didn't meet her eyes first...that was not out of the question. The thought cheered her immensely. With that in mind, she greeted the reportedly telepathic gorilla, whose appearance reminded her a little of 'Lij, the unofficial Triangle medic. "Hi." 	A line appeared between Zoe's brows as she glared at Joey behind his back. That was /her/ usual chair to sit in when she visited, and he just flopped in it. GK knows what Zoe said is logically to be expected, but he hadn't realized that that was probably so before. Maybe it was because jackasses at his school had all gone to major in business and minor in drinking at Ivy League schools. Different approach.

He looks to Orgo. "Vipers in this context refers to one of the major Triangle gangs. Normally, when they have one of their major Occasions, there's not that much we can do about it. Too many of them. But if we organize a bit, we could see how well we end up handling them."
