The Return of Kid Amazo
Cait decided to spend a day or two at the cottage before heading back to San Francisco. She needed a day or two to decompress after spending the past week in Atlantis. Dealing with Arthur was always stressful, this time being no different. Amnesty Bay was the perfect place to decompress and get some peace and quiet.

She walked out of the ocean and pulled the water out of her clothes and hair. She headed for the small cottage at the base of the lighthouse. She opened the door, stepped inside and never saw the blow. Pain spiked at the back of her neck and the world went dark.

"Bring her," a male voice said and a figure stepped out of the shadows. The man next to him picked up Cait's inert body and threw it over a shoulder. The two men left the small cottage.

	Tess is still getting used to thinking reasonably straight again, but in the end, she's quite used to thinking. And watching. And is very familiar with discreet technology, considering her parents. "Everyone, be careful of the walls," Tess calls out, following the patterns a little without triggering at least the first of the traps. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Immediate dropdown, body bent to avoid the trigger of a suspected trap, flipping over, bending again, then her feet coming up, right toward's Mr. Courtney's stomach. It's not her best flight series ever, but, "Not Tess's best" covers a broad range of things. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Impressive, most impressive. He rolls back with the kick, managing to mostly come across as doing it easily - were there not a bit of a wince there. He's on his feet again, brandishing his sword, thrusting the tip towards her a moment later. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tess avoids, hissing a bit as the sleeve of a perfectly good jacket is ruined, but she doesn't stop. Not time to let up now, and as her hands strike, she's targeting not just where he's sore now, but where she can tell some of his gadgetry is rigged. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's good at this. Very good. Quick too. Tess, however, is just a little quicker. She manages to get in a grazing blow to one of the areas with barely protected wiring - which is useful a moment later when he tries to another electrical blast - and nothing happens. The effort leaves him a little more open than he intended for counterattack. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
