The World According to Pippi
It had been a long fight with the Cadre, but in the end the Justice League International had won. The Cadre members were in jail and life went on. Dex grabbed a beer and kicked back on the couch in front of the tv.

He grinned as his green lantern uniform appeared on him. He took off outside and toward the nearest ship.

Petra raises her fingers to her lips and gives a piercing whistle. "Yo! World's tallest Asian girl! Free ammo!" Petra starts making giant spheres of ice, each roughly as tall as her boyfriend.

Dex used his ring and grabbed one of the ships. He gave it a swing around and smashed it into another ship.

Xian mutters darkly in Han before transforming back into his metal form and grabbing his staff. He'd simply have to take out his annoyance on any of the attackers foolish enough to leave their ships. He ran at a group of the aliens, staff swinging in an elaborate series of strikes.

He looked up at Lizzy with a raised eyebrow. "Baseball?"

Lizzy's right. This is weird. But there will be time to worry abut that later.

"Try to avoid dropping the ships on people!" Dinadan shouts. "Everyone who's not bringing down ships, we need to evacuate the civilians!"

Dex flew straight toward a ship. He was surrounded by green and flew straight through the ship. Then another. And then another. The ships started falling from the air.

Cian sends out more blasts from his lantern the take out some more ships. He also flew to push some ships out of the way if they started falling towards people.

So far, thankfully, no one seems to be getting randomly hurt. The ships fall, but somehow never in occupied areas. Either that, or seemingly random accidents crop up to get people out of the way.

Pippi herself moves to help with the evacuation and what healing is necessary, while the heavier hitters tackle the ships.

Xian was strong, but not strong enough to catch a spaceship. So instead he focused on getting people out of the line of fire.

"Its ok, Barbie, I can get you up to the ships so you can punch things too!" Pippi offers, ever so helpfully, reaching out to try and get hold of Barbie to superjump up to the level of the ships.

Can't have anyone feeling left out!

Its very fortunate the biggest aspect of her powers doesn't require her concentration - or even awareness its happening. The ships still seem to, against all odds, keep crashing down where there's no people or animal life.
Plenty of property destruction. The indigo effect will happily demolish millions in property if it saves a family of squirrels.
