He's not sure if they really do have answers, but it can't hurt to ask so long as they take the answers with a mountain-sized grain of salt. He turns back to Petra, pulling out his phone and checking it again before showing the blank screen to her. "Where I draw the line is that I do not have a single text from my father asking about the aliens or their tech, nor do I have anything from any members of the Society demanding that I bring one of the dinosaurs home for study. Pippi wanders away from the others to go talk to the Princesses, to see if they know what's going on while the others compare notes. "My friends there are really worried. This is a lot of attacks in a row, and no one is calling them. Which is weird, because some of them are really popular. Do you know what's happening?" The apparent lead of the Princesses walks her unicorn closer, gazing down serenely. "Trust in yourself, and wait an hour after eating before swimming." she responds, in a stately manner. Not to be totally outdone, one of the princesses clad in darker colors on a black unicorn moves to flank her leader, to add: "If you do your best, there are no losers. Dinadan chooses to ignore, for the moment, that Pippi has apparently found her people. "I'm leaning toward the "reality-warper who wants to make a name for themself taking on the JLI" theory, because I'm sure it would have come up before if we were all predisposed toward delusion," he says. "In which case, we can't know if we're the only ones caught in their sphere of influence, or if there are other people in danger. So we're still on protecting-people duty, for whatever comes next, but one of our flyers should peel off to see how far this effect goes." He looks to the flyers for volunteers.
