So This is What We've Got To Work With, Huh?
The man known only as the Elusive Man sits in his chair on the other side of the holographic relay projector, his features wreathed in shadow except for two glowing emerald green eyes. He watches young Cyrus navigate the controls of the Cerberus Ship Normandy II and admires the fact that the kid can handle it. That was good. After two billions credits worth of technological developments and upgrades, someone had best be able to fly that ship.

"Cyrus, you'll be under Urdrex's command while you two are recruiting the rest of the team. Don't take any unnecessary chances, you two. Find the people in the dossiers and get them to Omega as soon as possible; we don't have time to waste. Another colony has just been hit and if we don't do something about this soon, the rest of the universe is in a lot of trouble.

Are we clear?" the shadowed figure asks, sitting back in his chair.

This organization is very well connected. He just.... Wants the best people he can get to do this. Whatever reason he chose each and every one of you, it's a good one," Cyrus says bouncing on his heels slightly.

"And I don't know, man. I've never even seen his face and I've been with them for a couple weeks. What I do know about the Elusive man is that he actually wants to help. He is very interested in making sure we can save the people who were taken.... And find out who is behind this. Urdex says no one meets the Elusive man face to face anymore. People have tried killing him, and whatever so no one even knows what he looks like so he can protect himself so he can spread head Cerberus. The whole name of his little organization."

Alerron can hear the confusion in Katima's voice and the hope in Mar'i's. He could easily tell these two people to go away, to leave them all be and walk off. They do not have to get involved in someone else's conflict.

But if the Elusive Man can save my parents...can I afford to turn him down?

Alerron looks at Aleea and Cyrus with his emerald green eyes.

"If my sister and my lover consent, we will go with you to Omega. This Elusive Man had best deliver on his promises." Alerron says firmly.

Katima thought about the little house they had been living in, how they had started settling, about the bed she was now sharing with Alerron every night. How she had a home.

And she thought of what Indigo-1 had said when she had returned from training, about how she would never have a home with Alerron.

Katima took Alerron's hand. A cure for his parents was offered. It would be wrong of her to deny him that for something as frivolous as settled life.

And she wanted to know what this Elusive Man knew about her as well

"Ok."

"I'll do what I can to inure he keeps his word," Cyrus says loud enough for the group to hear. He missed his own parents. It left an ache he wasn't ready to explore out here in public.

He clears his throat. "We can take the shuttle back to your place so you can bring what you wish. We have almost three hours until my pal Urdex starts to worry. And uh, for the record? He's a Krogan. They're not exactly big on diplomacy usually."

	Krogans. Katima tried not to make a nasty facial expression as it was not fitting with her compassionate nature, but she had a generally well-noted dislike of Krogans. Too violent, too loud, too...everything. She tried to put this out of her mind as she squeezed Alerron's hand and pushed down her quiet sadness about leaving Ungara. (Reply to this)(Parent)
