Labor Day - YJLA
The weather was absolutely perfect for holding a cookout.

Tables had been placed on the roof of headquarters and the large grill fired up to get nice and hot. Burgers, hot dogs, sausage, ribs, corn on the cob, pasta salad, salad and fruit salad were just some of the food available to eat. Soda, water, fruit juice and other beverages were on ice.

The YJLA worked as a team and as a family to prepare the food. When they were ready, they carried it all outside and started their celebration.

It was a day of rest and relaxations for those who put their lives on the line for others.

	Dex was always up for eating and was more than happy to attend a cookout. Earth food fascinated him and he was way more than happy to sample it all. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Mo knew a few things about Earth food, particularly American cook-out food, though she also knew it from a slightly different twist: the Rayner twist, the one involving Mexican food. Mmm. Mexican food. Maura showed up a few minutes behind Dex, hauling with her two coolers of food. Including tamales. She figured Dex alone could eat one full batch himself. 	Michael stayed towards the back, his Firestorm Matrix at the back of his mind. He was new...really new. He didn't know any of these people aside form the fact they were Lanterns, and he didn't know jack about what they were like. Green was Will, and blue was Hope, but beyond that... 	Jai's met most of the new people already, but a few have escaped his notice. He'll show up at the cookout with hot dogs and burgers for grilling, as well as drinks for the coolers. Most of the names were meaningless to Michael. They were just young superheroes, after all (Although Michael may not be able to say the same of the Dax person) but the names really didn't mean much.

Until the Flash person.

Michael knew his uncle had worked with some of the Flashes. Was this one related to them?

"Excuse me...Jai, was it? I believe my uncle may have worked with your father...or uncle, I'm unsure which."

"'Get around a lot.' How very pun-tastic of you," michael says without thinking, then immediately regrets the words.

"I feel like I should be using my powers to help an industry, not wait for trouble to come and break stuff. I control matter, and create and shape it. Anything from salt to stainless steel to sulfuric acid. So long as its not organic."

A shrug come from to Michael.

"I guess I'm not used to not being proactive. Its part of what i want as a career."
