Labor Day - YJLA
The weather was absolutely perfect for holding a cookout.

Tables had been placed on the roof of headquarters and the large grill fired up to get nice and hot. Burgers, hot dogs, sausage, ribs, corn on the cob, pasta salad, salad and fruit salad were just some of the food available to eat. Soda, water, fruit juice and other beverages were on ice.

The YJLA worked as a team and as a family to prepare the food. When they were ready, they carried it all outside and started their celebration.

It was a day of rest and relaxations for those who put their lives on the line for others.

	"Rose," Dex said with a nod to the Blue Lantern. "Jai." Another nod in greeting. That was about as expressive as Dex got. He noticed the guy hanging on the fringe of the party. Dex grabbed two bottles of beer and went over to the guy. A bottle was offered to him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Most of the names were meaningless to Michael. They were just young superheroes, after all (Although Michael may not be able to say the same of the Dax person) but the names really didn't mean much.

Until the Flash person.

Michael knew his uncle had worked with some of the Flashes. Was this one related to them?

"Excuse me...Jai, was it? I believe my uncle may have worked with your father...or uncle, I'm unsure which."

"'Get around a lot.' How very pun-tastic of you," michael says without thinking, then immediately regrets the words.

"I feel like I should be using my powers to help an industry, not wait for trouble to come and break stuff. I control matter, and create and shape it. Anything from salt to stainless steel to sulfuric acid. So long as its not organic."

A shrug come from to Michael.

"I guess I'm not used to not being proactive. Its part of what i want as a career."
