Team Meeting
The Titans of myth being freed from Hades goes beyond just the YJLA. The adults are also working on it, but haven't had a lot of luck, especially with so many of their number in semi-retirement. As such, Jon moved beyond his original plan to hold a meeting of his team, and called to invite representatives of the other teams as well, calling all active roster YJLA, and inviting the other teams to send 1-3 people so things didn't get too crowded. Then they can inform their people what's going on.

"So, folks, we have a big problem. The monsters and beings that have been appearing around the world were freed from the dimension Hades. We don't know how or by who. The Olympian gods have not been forthcoming, even to the Amazons, and even very powerful mystics have been unable to pierce the mystery... though past experience has taught us that's often the case with affairs of the gods. They limit their direct interference in mortal affairs, in exchange, mortals have a very hard time dealing directly with them. Sadly, even though the original Grecian Titans don't have any such compact, to learn what happened, we'd need to get past Hades' protections. The Greek gods may be incapacitated, or may be somehow bound by the compact of the gods. Its very possible that once the original Titans reached Earth, their captors couldn't directly interfere."

He sighs. "Direct confrontation isn't the likely answer. Single gods have fought groups including my father, Wonder Woman and a handful of other senior leaguers. Many of the Titans have the power of an entire team. The Titans are more powerful still - the only reason the Greek Gods defeated them was due to greater unity and better tactics. Don't mistake me - they can be beaten, but we're going to need a good plan, and possibly more allies and greater resources. At this point, I'm open to ideas."

	A door appears where one wasn't before, the wall twisting and reshaping to reveal it, and opens. Zach strides out with a young woman in tow, clearly doing his best to reassure her everything is going to be fine. "You've got the world's greatest magician with you young lady, be at ease." Cerdian would have preferred not to have people in this meeting who weren't directly involved, but they were working on a schedule, so he didn't say anything. He simply provided the number of people who'd shown up and their names (for the ones he knew) to Rex mentally.

He stands and folds his arms into his robes and looks everyone in turn.

"Again, I thank you all for coming. As many of you probably know, beings of legend have begun plaguing our world. Some of you may have even faced them. The reason I've asked you all here is that things have become more dire. The Titans of Myth are loosed upon the world and it will take more than sheer brawn to stop them." he says, taking a deep breath. He disliked public speaking, but he let no evidence of such show upon his face.

"We have been asked to lead small strike teams in an effort to keep the Titans from running roughshod over our world. Our priorities are to keep civilians safe, as well as to harry, delay and harass the Titans when they appear, so that they cannot focus their wrath on humanity." Cerdian says.

"Is there anyone here who feels that they are not up to this task? If so, please speak now and we can find other ways for you to help."

	"It depends. I've avoided the Titans so far because my usual point of stability has been... somewhat compromised lately. Without an anchor, and a good one, I'm at least as big a threat as anything I'd be facing." Under the right circumstances, he fought Cthulhu. Zach surveys the lot. He's got a passing familiarity with most of them, or at least their families. Not a bad crew, but something's got to be done to stiffen up a few backbones.

"Go ahead and ask it then. We're all in this together." Zach encourages the young man, while also bringing up a point of his own.

"Evacuation is going to be high priority. I can manage routes through Shadowcrest's dimensional pocket if necessary. Do we have any other portal specialists?"

Late late late. Augh. There hadn't been any help for it though, Alina couldn't really show up to a Meeting of the Magically-Inclined with her clothes trying to crawl off her body. At least this time there's no bugs or snow on arrival, and a quick once-over reassures her that her clothes are still the same color as they were when she left. She couldn't say the same for the ground under everyone's feet, but it doesn't look sticky or dangerous and it really is a pretty shade of purple.

She moves up to the group, hoping no one's going to roll their eyes at her too much for her lateness. She spots Ty and drifts over to stand by him -- when they get a moment, she can ask him what she missed.

“I would call myself an expert or anything close but I have learned a lot recently that should help,” Mike said. He really had gone through the crash course in magic of late and he had gotten his dad to remove one of his telepathic blocks to he could use it more. “I don’t know any transport magic other than how to find places that lead to the Oblivion Bar.”

Percy can teleport himself and others, but his objective at the moment was something else. "I a-am capable of S-Soul Magic," he announced. "I-if we are f-fighting Titans of M-Myth, then I w-would like to ask p-permission to tap into v-volunteers to e-enhance my usefulness."

"I'm better at shuttling people out of the way through tunnels and wind tubes and stuff," Alina says, thinking a silent 'thank you' in Ty's direction. "But my magic isn't good for doing a lot of things really fast, or with doing the same thing for a long time." She jerks her thumb in Ty's direction. "I've been support staff for him before and it worked out pretty well, but also not my specialty. I can do it again though, if that's where you need me."

She likes her soul right where it is, thank you; but maybe if he can take some off the top of her magic, she might be able to better control what's left over.

“It would probably be a really bad idea to use on me,” Mike said with no intention of going to any farther detail than that. The reason was he was sort of sharing his soul and there was a delicate power balance inside his head that let him stay in control and he did not want to mess with it.

Cerdian has been silent for sometime, as Rex is providing the team info directly into his mind. Cerdian does suggest a couple of small changes here and there, but once done, he address the group.

"My friend, if anyone here is willing to share with you, that works. In the meantime, I've just been provided with everyone's assignments. If you don't know the people I'm naming off, don't worry. You'll be introduced very soon." Cerdian says.

Team One is Jayhawk, Morning Dove, Sindella Zatara and Jerry Carr.

Team Two is Warhawk, Doctor Fate, Green Lantern Dex and Aquaknight

Team Three is Victoria Craft, Hope Free, Asherah and Mikey Dugan.

Team Four is Aqualad, Whirlwind, Ty and Percy.

Team Five is Mike Blood, Wonder Girl, Alina and Power Boy." Cerdian says.

"Zach, we'll need you to run point on keeping Shadowcrest open for getting people to safety. You know the place best so we'll leave that to you." he says.
