Wake-Up Call
Henry sits in a corner of the apartment, focusing with his father's ring. He wants to find his father. He wants to find his father.

He refuses to let his desire he's had his whole life, this desire for a green ring, interfere any further. He needs to find his father. He has to.

The ring glows, casting the room in soft green light, but Henry makes certain it won't interrupt any of his sleeping companions.

He wants to find his father. He wants to find his father. He wants to... keep this ring.

Damn it.

He lets out a tired sigh.

	Cait stormed out of the bathroom with a trail of water following behind her. "What the...." she froze when she saw the missing wall and the thing standing in the gaping hole. She gathered the water around her and waited. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"DAMN!" Lian screams from the kitchen, grabbing her bow from where she leaned it against the counter. Less than a second later she's in the doorway of the kitchen, and lets out a more-colorful comment as she sees the tight quarters and who is attacking. The arrow she has notched might be able to put this guy on his butt, but not without taking out-

"Green Lantern! When I fire, lock him in a shield!"

Without waiting for an answer, Speedy adjusts the time delay on the arrow with a twitch of it's fletching, and fires at the thickest of Mongul's clothing.

If she's right it'll penetrate and hold for 1.5 seconds until detonation, and if she's lucky, Henry will have the shield up by then and they won't all die in the blast.

	Mongul feels the blast from the yellow ring, but ignores it as he slams Cerdian face-first into a wall, removing the one who teleported them all away before. He grunts as the arrow hits him in the chest. "Is this the best you can do?" he asks. Then the green shield comes up around him, and the arrow explodes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Ty's got a Sinestro Corps ring!" Henry spits, his face tightened in concentration as he keeps the explosion contained to Mongul. As the explosion fades, Henry attempts to create spikes inside the shield and send them inward... but no. Mongul's yellow skin repels the attack. And then the shield shatters as Mongul flexes his muscles. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Teddy's mist powers kept him from getting splattered, but he was also smart and kept the star rod right in his hands while he slept. He sees that the shield shatters and blasts with the star rod, not afraid of making himself a target. With... hopefully... a second's warning, he can phase through it. So the yellow ring didn't do anything more than the green one. Good to know, and time to get serious.

"Cait, get back!" he calls, worried for his girlfriend's safety as he activates Zoom's powers, moving back into a blur as he flies at Mongul, a dozen different tactics running through his mind as he readies for impact at full strength, clearly he can't hold back any here, first real fight or not.

	Mongul snarls as Ty collides with him. "Not bad, stripling," Mongul tells him, using his ring to keep his voice heard even through the water. The blast from the star rod still smoking, he attempts to grab Ty by the skull. "But not good enough." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

That punch... should have knocked this guy into next week. He's sure of it. His surprise that it doesn't has a familiar tingle building at the back of his brain. Trying to stave it off, he ducks the hand with a burst of super speed, and unleashes a gout of violet magical flame at Mongul's chest - maybe the pseudo sorcery will have some effect? He's sure hoping so, because he's not holding... who or whatever is coming out off for long.

	The vortex blast, combined with the violet flame, knocks him back, and he seems somewhat staggered. "Enough!" He slams his hands together, sending a shockwave outward towards the heroes, giving him a moment to collect himself. He reaches into a sack on his belt to pull out a tentacled, flowery plant. Yellow force field up, Telekinetic redirection, and Deathstroke's tactical analysis work together with Black Adam's invulnerability. When the shockwave passes and the smoke clears, Tyler is still standing, unmoved, hovering a few inches off the ground, ringed with magic. His right hand glows yellow, his left hand glows violet.

But his hands are trembling... not from Mongul's attack, but trying to concentrate, trying to get the word off he knows will slow this guy down before he manifests, trying to keep focus. He's close, so close...

"Sha..."

"Sha..."

A green bowler at a rakish angle appears on his head. The yellow glow is suddenly ringing a question-mark topped cane. In a slightly higher than normal voice, and with a creepily large grin, the next words from Ty...

"How is my plan like a rock band drummer?"

The fact that Lian can still hear and doesn't have a concussion is just reason number five thousand that she needs to hug Uncle Dick the next time she sees him. As soon as Mongul's hands started toward each other she'd opened her mouth as wide as it would go and plugged her ears with her fingers.

"Look out!" Speedy yells, dragging Traya out of the way as Ty starts to fall. Gods only know what that thing might do if it hit Traya.

"Lantern!" Lian yells, "Push him back with a shield!"

Lian kneels by Ty, hoping this thing hates burning phosphorous as much as the evil plants that she's familiar with do, and pops a flare alight.

	Anger spiked inside of Cait and she screamed. "GET OUT OF HERE!" There was loud banging as the pipes inside of the walls burst and water rushed forth. "NOW!" The water compressed and became as dense as steel and rushed forward to slam into Mongul. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cait drew upon every ounce of strength and resolve she had and unleashed a fury of attacks. Four separate tendrils formed and one by one they slammed into Mongul. One. Two. Three. Four. Each hit with the force of steel.

Cait didn't stop. Countless hours of training allowed her to do multiple attacks at once. Ice formed around his feet and legs while another bubbled formed around his head.

"ATTACK HIM NOW!" she yelled to the others.

Anger drove her on. She sensed another very faint water source from the direction of Mongul. She reached out toward it.
