This time its almost expected.

Just like their first mission last time, the Exiles show up in their first mission together 30' off the ground and falling. Sarah catches herself, switching to hover, and grabs for the nearest non-flyer, reaching automatically for her shield with the other hand.

The land beneath is parched, packed Earth, not much cooler than the desert they just left. The terrain all around is scrub, with some hardy trees and brush providing some cover and shade to the east, and otherwise a lot of nothing in most directions. Definitely nothing in the way of civilization.

	Quinn was a bit startled to find himself falling when they emerged in the new dimension. He quickly regained his wits and started casting a spell. "I summon the Winds of Watoomb," he said and the wind immediately picked up. They slowed his decent and his feet eventually softly touched down on the barren Earth. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Protected from his own powers, and apparently feeling that the people are some sort of serious threat, Electro first pumps more juice into his blasts, channeling everything he has to try and overwhelm the bubbles around his hands. 	Agility has never been Jack's weak point, though the sorceror almost catches him off-guard. He dodges between the blasts, looping and weaving before firing the bat-wing's flamethrower back at the mage. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Somewhat more limited than usual out here in the scrub, Hydro-Man just has to make due with his own hydro form, lashing out with long tendrils, trying to snag hold of someone and pull them into his body to begin suffocating. "Surrender and maybe we let you live." (Reply to this)(Thread)

	He may not be the toughest, but he's among the most agile of the party. Patriot opens fire on the Rhino, blasting as he rolls out of the way. He knows enough about the Rhino to know to turn his blasters up to high. That should at least sting a little through his thick armor. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The armor is tough, but he's not invulnerable. The stun pistols sting, and he seems to be a little less steady as he skids to a stop on missing his target. Great, she knows exactly what kind of fight this is going to be. She launches herself back at the woman to keep her away from anyone else, pulling the shield off her back as she goes.
