Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

"Jason Howard Landon, I expect you to tell me everything tomorrow morning during breakfast." the older woman says. She seems to still be surreptitiously checking her grandson to make sure he's still in one piece.

"I will leave you two to your evening." Gran says finally, kissing Jason on his cheek before leaving the room.

	Sammy moved to open the drawer and found the old fashioned metal scoop. For some reason it made her smile. "Dont knock those extra clips. I fell naked with only two in my bag." 	Tech begins adding the caramel, chocolate sauce, and cherries to his ice cream. He enjoys the first spoonful with a big smile and grins at Fury. Sammy put the ice cream into the freezer and carried her bowl to the table opposite Tech. She added chocolate syrup and whipped cream to hers. "I enjoy hearing people talk about what engages them. Up to know you haven't talked much except when it comes to your work, and you're very passionate about it. And now that I know you can do it in a Southern drawl..." She waggled her brows suggestively over a spoonful of ice cream before popping it into her mouth.

Tech laughs as he continues eating his own bowl of ice cream. He realizes he forgot the whipped cream and adds a bit to his own ice cream.

"There are many things Ah am passionate about, Fury. Mah work happens to the be the one we've managed to get to first, but Ah'm sure there will be others." Tech says.

"What else are you passionate about, Fury? Coffee and good weapons are two things, as well as your career and teammates, if Ah reckon right.

What else gets into your head, if you don't mind my askin'?" Tech asks.
