Teaming Up
The Masters of Evil had attacked the Thunderbolts headquarters and had made off with Victor's body and with it a way to eventually access Ultron's files on the Avengers. It was a situation where a collaboration of the Thunderbolts with another team was needed. They needed to get Victor's body back as soon as possible.

The Thunderbolts made the trip to New York and were gathered in the conference room at Avengers Mansion along with the Avengers. They needed to discuss strategy and form a plan to retrieve Victor's body.

Anya sat back in her chair and let her brother take the lead. James was more experienced with leading a team and if anyone could get them to all work together as one big team, he could.

Kelly uses a grapnel gun to scale a buildingside, heading for high ground. "According to what Anya and Syd pulled up on the way over, its narrowed down to one of five probable locations. We can see four of them from the top of that site with binoculars. We need to wait til the bait goes up to determine which one it is."
After all, if they actually knew where the MoE was ahead of time, the Avengers would have just raided them before now. Their odds are good if they can coax them out now though.

"As soon as we get a positive ID on a location, we can move in as soon as they've got most of their people in the field."

	The Hood checks her weapons again and murmurs several incantations to herself, glowing slightly for a moment as she does. Protective spells are beautiful things, though some of Mel's...aren't working quite right these days. Still, she's not worried about that. She just can't wait to pump a bullet or two into someone. Kelly glances aside at Mel and Sydney. "I'm guessing they work off of the standard robotic threat detection methods, IR, UV or motion detectors. I'll mess with the tinker toys out here and give you some cover. Go get Victoria."

She takes off at a run across the robot's field of fire, not bothering with stealth. Meanwhile, she opens fire... on the fire suppression system. Setting off the sprinklers and fire alarms should provide a ton of noise and movement, and falling water will make it hard to pick up the others' heat signatures.

Egghead had been monitoring their progress and had been directing the robots, but then the alarms and fire suppression systems went off. The robots' targeting systems were useless.

He set the lasers mounted on the walls to random fire. The targeting systems were useless, but even on random they stood a chance of hitting something.

He directed the robots toward the intruders and ordered them to open fire even without the targeting systems.

	Hood extends a hand and whispers a word, sending a blast of telekinetic force at as many robots as possible before ducking behind cover. Then she starts shooting at any thing that isn't one of her teammates. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Got it." Kelly agrees. She leaps into the fray, giving the others some cover as she reaches into a satchel at her waist, concealing whatever she grabs.
She takes the laser shots and shrapnel from the random robots shooting, trying not to take anything too immediately damaging, but willing to get cut up a bit to make sure her plan works.

As soon as she gets to where one of the robots has her clear in its sights, so she can be absolutely sure Egghead can see her, she pulls her top open to flash him - ought to make sure she knows where the creepy geek's eyes are, and make sure they're wide, wide open.

Of course, half a second later, the flash grenade she was concealing in her hand goes off for the camera.

That ought to slow him down.

	The robots didn't have many defensive capabilities and were easily destroyed. There were only a few left standing after the initial round and they continued to fire. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Egghead had been watching the fight and then saw...BOOBS! They weren't Hadelinde's but they were still a nice set of boobs. Then the flash and the cameras went dark. "Dammit!" he yelled. He pushed a button on the console and the robots with the intruders exploded. Maybe that would be enough to take care of them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Hood ducks when the explosion hits. Even so, she's still thrown against a wall from the force of one of the explosions. Okay, whoever the jackass is that designed these robots, he's going to get hurt and badly, when she finds him. She stands up, shaking her head to clear the cobwebs. 	Using her empathy made Luna an open target, and she got thrown clear off her feet by the explosion. Her head was throbbing, and she stood up slowly. "I'm a little disoriented, but I'll live," she said. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kelly was just fixing her shirt again after cutting off Egghead's focus on controlling the robots' actions. This proximity also put her point blank to the explosions.
At the first check, she's laying still and smoking. Its a few moments before she blinks, groaning just slightly as she sits up, pulling some of the bigger pieces of shrapnel out of her chest and neck.

"Damnit, I hate that. One look at boobs and some guys explode prematurely. We clear?"
