One Way Ticket Out of Here
Irina and Lyta returned to the Champions headquarters and informed the other members about running into the visitor from the other dimension and that the bad Avengers were here and on the loose. It took a little bit of time to explain it all, but by the time they were finished their guests had arrived.

They were shown in and they all gathered in what was once the main room of the nightclub.

	The blow struck against Argo's midsection, protected somewhat by Olympian armor. It knocked the wind from him, but he did not fall. He did what was likely a most surprising thing. He laughed. "OUTRAGEOUS!" he boomed. "I have not been struck like that in too long! A worthy adversary at last!" He feigned left, and struck with a right-handed uppercut. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Get used to it. You're about to get your ass kicked, pal." Kevin says. The uppercut lands, driving Kevin back a few steps, but he quickly sets himself for the next charge. Rather than let Argo follow that up, Kevin immediately dives and tries to take Argo's legs out from under him. The bigger they are, the harder they fall, right? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Argo had little doubt he was the stronger combatant here, though he would be the first to admit that strength was not always everything. Even the Son of Hercules sometimes needed a clever plan. Or perhaps they just needed to jump, letting the alternate wordler pass harmlessly under him, delivering a kick as he went past. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The kick sends Kevin hurtling past Argo and into the side of another car, which buckles under the impact. Kevin shakes off the impact, turning to face the larger man.

"Scared to take a hit, big guy?" Kevin taunts. "It's cool. If I were you, I wouldn't want me to hit you, either." Kevin says as his mace glows.

He then aims at Argo and looses a blast of mystic energy at Argo.

	Argo staggered under the attack, gritting his teeth in pain, his flesh cooking even under his armor. He took one step forward and then another, marching against the beam. The sai impales Kevin's arm drawing an angry grunt from the man. These jerks liked to gang up on people, did they? All right, then.

Taking one hand from his mace, he reaches over and pulls the sai out of his arm, then leaps out of Argo's path, shutting down the lightning blast that was turned upon him.

Kevin scans the street, looking for something he can use against these two. He sees a young blonde woman hawking at the battle and grins savagely, gambling on the heroism of these two idiots.

He tosses his hammer at Natalie, knowing it will come back to him whether or not it hits her. She's a trained warrior, just like this other guy.

He's willing to bet blondie across the street /isn't/ and that she's about to have a really bad day.

"Honor is for chumps." Kevin says, throwing the sai at the blond across the street.

It impales the woman easily and pins her to the wall like a Hallmark butterfly.

"Choice time, Hero. I saw a hospital about six blocks from here, but that lady over there is...ooh, bleeding like a sieve. You and Nat-Pack could stay and beat me round about the head and shoulders, but that woman is going to bleed to death while you do it." Kevin says, his hammer glowing as he catches it.

"Time for the lightning round." he grins, the roars and charges at Argo.

He wasn't going to do something fair like let /them/ choose.

In all his time on Earth, Argo had always had to restrain himself, to hold back his great strength in a world of cardboard. His was a might that rivaled that of his beloved father, a might which could crack mountains in half.

And he had only once before been even close to approaching this level of angry.

He might kill Kevin. He doesn't care. For base cowards like him, death is too good.

Rage blinding him, he intercepted Kevin's charge and threw a punch with his full and complete strength behind it.

Kevin Masterson has been hit hard in his life. His mother, Thrynn, others have hit him and it hurt, but it wasn't anything he couldn't get up and walk away from. Most times, he gave as good as he got and won. It was never enough to impress /her/, but he did the best he could every time he went out.

Argo still manages to hit him harder than anyone ever has.

Kevin goes through the portal against his will, angry and resentful that he won't get to kill the Greek for this insult. Somehow, someday, he'll make him pay for this.

Even if he has to break down the gates of Olympus himself to get to him.

	KRA-KRAK! The sound of Argo's punch connecting with the other dimensional disgrace to the legacy of a great man resounds through the streets, causing some windows to shatter and crack. His rage subsiding, Argo's senses returned quickly. "The woman... is she...?" (Reply to this)(Parent)
