Giving Thanks

In America today is a day for being thankful for the things in people's lives. Today was a day to celebrate family, friends, prosperity and health with food, family and friends. It is a time to reflect on what is important us and to recognize the gratitude we hold for having those things in our lives.

Izzy helped out with the cooking where she could. She always helped out back at home, so why would she not help out here?

Ellie stayed out of the way of the kitchen. She behaving herself!

That, and she'd already been kicked out of the kitchen for trying to sneak a slice of apple pie.

Cooking wasn't Chris' forte, so her contribution to the holiday had been splurging on some reams of new fabric and making tablecloths, place-mats, and napkins for the occasion.

Cassidy decides to stay out of the way of the people cooking and setting the table so he doesn't mess anything up, but the food smells great. This is his first Thanksgiving that he can remember, so he's looking forward to it.
