Dark Reflections: Battle In New York
Morning came to New York and with it a brisk wind making it seem colder than it was. The weak winter sun did little to warm things up and a layer of frost covered cars and other objects left out in the cold winter air over night. The city that never slept was becoming more alive with activity as her residents started their daily routines.

High above the city the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier flew, keeping an eye on the city below.

It seemed like any other winter's morning in New York, but today would prove to be far from ordinary.

Osborn cuts his thrusterss and descends slowly, coming to a above and in front of Sarah. He's done the requisite checks upon his weapons systems. He's got more than enough power to make this count and he's been calibrating the exact punch he's going to need to knock this bitch into next week.

Eighty-seven percent power. If this works, he'll have just enough to get back to the now-landed helicarrier for a recharge. Then he's going to have a long talk with Stark about this debacle.

"You're under arrest for violation of the SHRA, Code 119.721, operating as a costumed hero without registration and authorization by the lawful government of the United States. You are also charged with assaulting officers of the law, attempted murder and treason against the United States of America." Osborn snarls, extending both his arms.

"As you've seen fit to wave your right to remain silent /and/ you're attempting to kill my people, I have no choice but to use lethal force to defend myself!

UNI-BEAM!" Osborn says, firing his repulsors and uni-beam in a blast a Sarah that is more than capable of taking out a two-block radius.

As he fires, a laugh issues from Osborn's mouth, a mad cackle that no sane man could produce.

"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

	Natasha was just climbing out of a hovercar that she grabbed to get Tony and Steve out of the crashing Helicarrier. "Sarah!" she yelled in shock as she watched Osborn fire on her. She charged up her Widow's Bite and charged forward firing at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She loses her hold on both hammers and goesflying back, tumbling head over heels under the blast. She comes to rest, still, save for rising and falling of her chest. Sixty seconds later, the armor disappears, and a very unconscious Sarah lays still near the downed helicarrier. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Eli barely finished his own recharging and healing before the helicarrier went down. As it is, he teleports as many people off of the base as possible, getting them to dry land in case the carrier goes underwater.

He sees what Osborn is doing and realizes that the man is wholly insane, even by human standards.

"Sometimes, there just are not words for the depths humans will sink to." he mumbles.

	Dane sees Sarah go down and he drops Mac Gargans limp carcass to the ground. Even the alien creature bonded to him was no match for the Ebony Blade and both found that out the hard way when Dane ran him through the fourth time. "SARAH!" he yells, wheeling Strider in Osborn's direction as well, following Natasha's lead. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
