Homecoming (open to Avengers)
Charlie was glad to be home. In the end of it, he enjoyed his time hoping around through the timestream, and had gotten to become really good friends with his teammates.

But goddamn, it felt good to be back.

After stopping off at his parent's apartment for a quick change of clothes and a shower (his Mom wasn't home yet, but his Dad said that he'd tell her that they had come back later), Charlie made his way over to Avengers Mansion.

"Anybody home?"

"I...had not thought of actually being a member of the Avengers. I am not really a hero, so to speak." Eli says humbly.

"I also cannot fully devote myself to the team. I have...family commitments, is the best way to put it." Eli tells Luna, a grimace coming to his face. He would have to face Druig again soon. Would his father know that he was gone?

Would he even care?

"I would be glad to call the Avengers my friends, though. Charlie offered to teach me about vampires and their ilk at one point. We met a few during our trip." Eli says.

Luna caught the grimace. "I understand family commitments," she said. "I have not seen my family in sometime, but if they needed me, they come first. Though I am sure there is a spot for you on the team, if you wanted it." She blushed. "Not that I can speak for the leaders, or anything..."

"Vampires? Interesting. There are some books on them, in the library, I believe."

"Oh, I have not forgotten, Vernique. We will certainly talk again soon regarding fashion." Eli smiles, before turning back to Luna.

"Oh, I wouldn't presume ask to join such an august group. You all have far more experience than I, though I am eager to learn from anyone willing to teach." Eli tells her.

He blinks when she says that there are books in the library on vampires.

"Are there now? Do you think I could be granted access in order to study them? There are many gaps in my admittedly spare knowledge about them.

I must address my ignorance before I can go any further with my ideas." Eli says.

"Around eight months, I want to say," Luna said. "I joined with my best friend shortly after I got word that the Avengers were a short a couple of members. Both of my parents have been Avengers, and I have known the majority of their children my entire life."

Eli nods. "Then you must have arrived when we left. Timing really is everything." Eli says.

"Kalypso only brought me here that day to meet the Avengers, as I have long been a fan of their exploits. Then Kang attacked and suddenly we were chasing him throughout time.

I am an Eternal, from Polaria. My people are not as open to relations with humanity and others as the Olympian Eternals. My father has issues with humans, to put it midly." he says.

She smiled. "It is. But you saved the timestream. And for that, we are all thankful."

Luna nodded. "I can actually see where you're coming from, a little." She said. "I am an Inhuman, on my mother's side. Though we are trying to improve our relations with Earth and other races, we've been fairly...closed off in the past. My mother was the first to marry outside of her race, though she may have been given some leeway as a member of the Royal Family...and my father's side has not always been in touch with humanity, either."

"My mother enjoys humanity, as does my cousin Sersi. My father, sadly, believes that humanity is only meant to serve our people. I have never subscribed to that belief, nor will I.

Not when I have seen the best of humanity embodied in my friends and their deeds. I have also seen a possible future that gives me hope for change, and so I will do what I need to to make it possible." Eli says.
