Scorpio's Sting
Mikel Fury had held his breath when they passed through the main security checkpoint to S.H.I.E.L.D. Central. He knew Sammy would get through with no problems since she was Daddy’s Little Girl and Golden Child, but he the rest of his team could have been a huge problem. He didn't need the mission failing before they got a foot in the door. Thankfully Aquarius and Sagittarius made getting in a lot easier with the use of their powers.

Mikel had selected well when he put his team together.

The team entered the elevator and Mikel pushed the button for the top floor. The Old Man was waiting and Mikel was sure that by now he knew Mikel was in the building.

	Mikel grinned and stepped out of the elevator and onto the executive floor. There was a receptionist desk that served the four executive offices. Their father had one, the Contessa had another, Dugan the third and Mikel was unsure if the fourth was occupied or not. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Sammy went directly to Nick's door and opened it with a smile on her face. She fell into the role of dutiful daughter easily and convincingly. He was where she knew he would be. Therese reaches out to rest a hand on Nick's arm, activating her powers. Mikel knows well that Nick is too strong willed to completely reprogram, at least without a lot of sessions, but she can definitely slow his brain down some.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, Col. Fury." she replies, channeling her best mind-blank through the touch, and looking to Sammy. "They have people prepped to take down Mikel, I can see it in his brain... Sammy, you've got to freeze time and shut down the security protocols." she hisses urgently.

	Sammy nodded and time paused. When it resumed almost a minute later for her, security had been hijacked exactly how Mikel wanted it. Now orders were going out and guards were standing down all through the directorate. She put a hand on the desk to steady herself and looked to Mikel. "It's done for now. 	'Marla' waved to Brendon, aka Ares. "Give me a thirty second head start. I can get in and fetch her with no problem, keep things quiet til Sammy has Dugan. Keep her door guards in your crosshairs until we know there's no problems." she suggested, checking with Mikel to make sure the plan was a go, then heading for the door. 	Sammy paused. Her reprogramming had been all about Nick and transferring her devotion from him to Mikel. Valentina was still adored. "Be careful with Mom. Don't hurt her. Tell them."
