When the Stars Fall From the Sky
Agent Gamble noticed a power surge in one satellite and then it was gone. The connection to the satellite was broken and then another satellite had a power surge. A few moments later that one went offline. One by one the SHIELD satellites went offline and the world's big spy agency was blind in the sky.

Agent Gamble jumped up and hurried over to Commander Dugan.

Ten minutes later Col. Fury ordered his special ops team in for a briefing.

	As much fun as this was, they had a mission to complete. Sammy moved up to Del. "I'm going to touch your arm," she called over the gunfire as a warning a second before she did. Once everything them stopped, she tightened her grip on Del and tugged her toward the main building. "Let's go. Don't shake me off or I'll lose you. I let go, understand?" With Del's cooperation, they were able to run inside and find the computer center. Taking out the last few goons was easy enough before she let time resume. At once there was the sound of fighting coming from outside. The others would notice nothing except their disappearance.

She released Del and took up a position at the door, closing it enough to keep an eye on the hall. "I'll hold the door while you work."

	Outside the Hydra agents kept firing at the SHIELD agents. At the far end of the compound a large door on the biggest building slid open and the ground started to shake a little as the large armored vehicle rumbled out. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Agents continued to fire at John, Alice, Tech and Aleks while the large armored vehicle set its guns on Aleks and opened fire. "Get them!" shouted a voice from along the wall. 	Sammy was getting antsy to be outside with the rest of the team but orders were to get the information SHIELD needed. She tried to keep the urgency out of her voice. "How many more seconds do you need?" Yes, she counted seconds. She could do a lot with seconds. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aleks is going to hurt like the devil tomorrow. He's taken a lot of hits, including from the artillery - but he's finally gotten to the vehicle, and kept most of the big guns off the others - doing his job. The vehicle is heavily armored, but he figures at least he has an edge up close and personal. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alice's shot sped toward its target. It hit Auric Goldfinger right between the eyes. The man was still for a moment and then toppled backward and off the wall. The Hydra troops saw him fall and knew the tide was changing. They all fired another round and started to retreat toward the far end of the compound. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Finally having put a dent in the vehicle - right through its engine, Aleks hefts the vehicle overhead, and launches it toward the far walls to cut off as many of them as he can.
