Not Far From Chandilar
The X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy set out from Knowhere Station and headed toward Chandilar the throne world of the vast Shi'ar empire. They arrived not far from the planet and ready to put their plan into action.

Torn Ear jumped forward and swung one of his hammers into a soldier. A shockwave issued from it, and sent them flying.

"...AWESOME!" He was practically purring as he threw himself at another enemy. "I bet I'll be taking down more of them than the short fluffy one."

David has finished knocking the first Shi'ar soldier he tackled out. Now he ducks and throws himself into a kick quickly. He hasn't slowed down for a second.

Torn Ear let out a hiss as some energy weapon clipped his back, but he wheeled and drove a hammer into their sternum, pushing them back.

"Fortunately, am having bigger gun!"

He unsubspaced a gun whose barrel was easily as wide as he was tall. "Is being shock cannon!"

He fired it at Gladiator and was immediately, because of Neutonian physics, sent hurling back in response, bouncing off the ground a couple times.

He looked up, somewhat dizzy. "...Is being very shocking."
