Rallying the Troops
Steve had, quite perplexingly, been unable to get a hold of Anya all day. Following that, he'd tried to see if Toni had heard from her, and discovered that neither one of them had. Further calls up and down the Young Avengers phone tree had left him unable to raise several other members as well. Hardly any of the comm. cards were working, and with the few that he did, there was something funny about the line. He knew just enough from his mom to know when a line was being tapped, and he suspected the YA cards were.

He'd gone out to check Hyrdobase, and found it deserted. Plus, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched.

All of which had led him back to Avengers' Mansion, for lack of anything better to try. Maybe one of the adults would know what was going on.

It took some time for Jack to realize Kal wasn't getting her messages. They weren't joined at the hip and both were busy with school. When a few days went by without even a brief text response, he went to Sersi's apartment to check on things.

When he got no answer from knocking, he tried to think of someone else to contact. Kal's cousin was a likely source, and Jack didn't think he'd have a problem with knocking on the Avengers' front gate. Kal's silence bothered him because he was sure she'd let him know if she finally decided to go to Titan to see her father. If Iason went with her, surely one of the Avengers or Mr. Jarvis would have that information.

	Hank Pym was one of the few adults currently at the mansion. The adult Avengers were out on a mission while he had stayed behind. There was an experiment that he could leave unattended. He was currently down in the lab. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Daniel had just arrived looking for the others. He was new to the team. Brand spanking new so knowing that for some reason no one was at the YA base bothered him so he came in to check in with the adults. 	It took a few hours, but eventually Kal and Iason landed on the front lawn of the Avengers mansion no worse for wear. Kal had used a TK shield to keep their clothes from burning off during re-entry. She just needed some sort of real uniform if she was going to go on a mission with the Avengers. (Reply to this)(Thread)
