Fortune Favors the Bold
Night was settling over the city and in S.H.I.E.L.D. Central the night shift was just coming on duty and settling in for the night. It looked like it was going to be a rather quiet night. Just like last night, the one before that, the one before that and so on.

"We can, though as soon as we hit security that isn't already down and have to start breaking in, some of us should probably get set to intercept these Zodiac people. Especially that illusionist. You know how bad that could be if we don't deal with them... and we have a big problem even if we rescue the Avengers, but don't at least slow down the Zodiac until we can get Nick Fury in shape to try and retake SHIELD. From the sound of it, that might not be immediate."

"What's Sam Fury's weakness? How do you take her down in practice?" Jack knew he was quick, but he wasn't quicker than a thought. Surely her team knew the easiest way to disarm the time manipulator without causing lasting damage.
