The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

Gron was ready, He was ready for this. He would not believe what he was seeing but he was ready. He lifted his hammer and swung at the first hostile creature he saw. Ready for order to be given.

"Avengers, the Asgardians and allies are most of our heavies, let them take the initial charge and group up on them. Divide a magic user to as many groups as possible, and buy our spellcasters all the time you can. Kal, Grog's not that bright. Keep him busy until we can win another fight and gang up on him. Toni, find Camazotz or Tezcatlipoca and keep a bright light on them. Both of them are stronger, or can disappear in the shadows."

Derek was kinda shocked. he had been at the hideout in San Fransisco when he got a garbled call from Mac. he wouldn't have thought that in helping Mac he would end up...well, at Mount Olympus.

"Any place you want me? Got the same powers as my cousin. Plus I got this."

Derek taps the psychic headband.

Nicolai nodded. Seemed a sound strategy to him. And keeping some distance between himself and some dark rampaging gods definitely seemed like a good idea.

Jack wasn't all that sure he'd come out of this alive. Gods were gods and he could just hear his mother tell him he was too much like his father.

He took a deep breath and nodded along with Nicolai.
