	She appreciated Buck's professionalism, but she'd come to expect that of him during her time with the Avengers. It also didn't hurt to have childhood memories of a not so perfect Buck either. Sammy is certainly one of the people who knows how perfect he isn't. He can't pretend with her that he's a perfect boy scout. Well, her or Alice. And he's certainly not going to turn down her help on this one.

Speak of the devil, Nikki headed around the corner, pausing midstep to take in Buck Rodgers with Sammy before proceeding over to them, dropping her pack, already in her mission blacks. "Mr. Rogers...it's a pleasure to be under your command."

Oh thank god for whatever genes she had from her father that let her say that totally deadpanned. Now wasn't the time for joking and double entandre...not with Lena and Tim out there.
