Regrouping
Kal flew the ship to the rendezvous point to meet up with the other team. The affects of the time distortion were quite evident on the faces and in the hair of the members of her team. They all had more wrinkles and gray in their hair. Some were a little worse than others.

She brought the ship down on the small planet and they waited for the others.

"Don't they use something known for not degrading over time in their standard energy cells? Or am I mixing their weapons up with the Skrulls again."

That had happened once when she had been cataloging some illegal weapons that she had come across when she got bored. Making a mistake like that again even if it had only been a one time thing isn't something she is going to do again.

Buck takes all of this in, assessing the situation. "This just got a lot worse. Ok folks, two teams. One up here with Quill and Red working on battering the Kree if our transmuter can neutralize their guns... take out their ships and weapons in preference over the Kree themselves. If we can reduce their resources while we have an opening, those don't regenerate.

Second team is going to the surface with me to engage the Guard ASAP. Some of them are as bad individually as groups of warships. We have to try and slow that down."

"Be really careful. He was one of the most powerful superhumans recorded. He's gone several rounds with Thor, and given whole teams of X-Men fits. But yes, that's his top end. If he starts losing confidence, his power levels drop to more manageable, but there's still that hurdle to get past, and even then, if they managed to resurrect him, he's more dangerous than any three warships."

"His son and his sister are sensitive subjects, but careful how you push those buttons. His powers' conditionality doesn't seem to consider 'berserker rage' to equal 'lack of confidence'." Alex gives a dry laugh as he starts getting telemetry in order for the weapons systems.

"Azura, remember. Just disable. The usual killshots aren't going to matter as much as the usual cannon fodder you cut a swathe through."
