My Date With The Little Mermaid
Movie tickets? Check.

Dressed semi-nicely? Check.

Flowers? ...kind of.

Mason straightened himself up and knocked on the door to Marrina's room. His First Date ever; hopefully it wouldn't be a total wreck. Jordie had given him pretty good advice after all, and he always seemed to do alright with the ladies back home.

Mason orders her stuff and pays for it as well, before loading up on his own. He passes the tickets to her to give the next employee, needing both arms to carry all of their food. Yes, he's going to carry everything. Just because he's ~~tiny~~ not Jordie doesn't mean he can't carry plenty of stuff. He works plenty in the garage and yard and stuff after all. There are totally muscles in this ~~tiny~~ frame.

Once they're seated, and all the snacks are organized, he looks around the theatre, apparently observing something, before letting out a rather satisfied "Heh-heh."

Mason relaxes a little, having a little surge of happy at her not apparently feeling the need to get rid of his hand.

"Sure thing, my pleasure." He pauses. "Just curious by the way, but is the hair a 'you' thing, or a dye thing?" He wasn't sure if she was a mutant, or something else, so ''you' thing' seemed the best way to phrase it.

"I really like it." He says in addition.

	Yes, even though she was so mean as to point out his height when they met. He's classy like that. There's also the fact that it couldn't matter less to him. "That's really cool." 	For the first return to traditional animation in years, it's a pretty good movie, as far as Disney goes. Catchy songs, at any rate. Marrina can't help but smile just a little when she catches Mason tapping his foot along to the music. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Mason blushes slightly, shrugging as he sinks into his seat, possibly trying to hide behind his bag of popcorn and giant drink. "It's good music..."

When he hasn't needed both of them for snack management, he's been holding her hand for most of the movie. Webbing blocked intertwining of the fingers, but he was still of at least fair enough proportion to put his hand around hers.

"Oh... alright then." At that, he smiles and sits up again, finding himself with his shoulder touching hers as he gets comfortable again.

Is that much contact okay? It wasn't on purpose, but he just found himself doing it as he was getting comfy again. He doesn't want to be pushy. He doesn't have any idea where things are going to go if there's 'chemistry' as he'd always hear Jordie or his parents talk about it. Well, okay, he gets the basic concepts, but he's not sure how they'd be put into application by him, with her. Pay attention to the movie still, stupid. What if she wants to talk about it afterwards?

That thing about gears spinning madly in his head? Yeah, it's happening again. This leaves him much to distracted to simply adjust his seating and save himself the internal borderline anxiety attack.

Of course over her. She's a pretty girl who made going to a movie a date even when she totally had an out. A pretty older girl too, who's a superhero like him. She already rates four star treatment, bordering on five.

Enough time passes without any backlash that Mason lets himself breathe a sigh of relief and relaxes, letting their shoulders go ahead and touch. It's nothing to get so worked up over.

And the movie and snacks are good too.

Mason grins and nods cheerfully as he gathers up his garbage, cracking his neck from side to side. "Definitely worth the tickets. I'm glad they haven't totally given up on old style animation. I mean, I loved Toy Story and Wall-E, but..." He pauses, wondering if he shouldn't have said that, but then continues anyway "...but old animation just has that feeling that takes you back to getting up early on Saturday morning."

Like you were doing two months ago Mason.

	Mason smiles and nods, escorting her out into the lobby again. As they get there, he fishes his phone out of his pocket to switch it back on. No sooner does the icon change from silent to normal than Ode To Joy (sung by Beaker) starts playing. He blushes and laughs nervously. "Ehheheh... one sec." He steps a few yards away and answers it.
