The Big Finale!
The brides were clad in white and lined up in front of the altar. A semi-circle of priests stood behind the brides and were chanting. The magic in the air became more powerful as the priests chanted. A small circle appeared in the air before the brides and started to get bigger.

Standing behind the priests was a large group of deviants. They were witnessing the rebirth of their god into the mortal realm. It was an honor and privilege to be witness to this historic moment.

On the coast, Lucas has a circle drawn in the sand where he's working. Nearby there's a staging area for those with medical training to assess the injured and sort out types of injuries. The poisons aren't entirely natural, tied in somehow to this dark magic, but its also at least based on snake toxins, something he can work with - its also dangerous enough that the poisoned are being pushed up the line of injured first, barring someone on death's door.

Despite his own fatigue, Lucas is a blur of energy, chanting all the while, save when he absolutely has to respond to someone. He has a few small clay pots filled with some sort of pigments, which he colors wounds and injuries with gently, before painting the mix of blood and pigment on his own skin in the same spot as the injury. Each time he does, a wound fades slightly, bleeding stops, and poisons are brought to the surface, while a fresh looking scar from the same type of wound appears on the marked spot on the shaman.

"I've handled the bleeding and the wounds themselves, but there's nothing I can do about this toxin." Kristoff says as he carries Franklin to the young man with the... oh, he's not. Not using that technique with the amount of trouble they're dealing with. It's insane.

"Bring him into the circle, then get out of it as quickly as possible, I can negate the toxins."

Ok, so he's actually using sympathetic healing while protecting himself from the venom. Easier to purify and heal himself when its done, especially since he's only taking the worst edge off their wounds until they're stabilized. Tomorrow will suck, but that's tomorrow.

Kristoff lays Franklin in the circle, then immediately stands back.

"I certainly hope someone is keeping an eye on your condition. I'll be there with the less critical cases."

"My girlfriend won't let me kill myself, and I'm protected from the venoms. I'll be fine, these others won't." he replies calmly, getting back to work on Franklin's injuries.

"Eeee-ooooooowwwwww!"

Franklin woke up startled by the pain. He was startled to see Lucas and the bandages and the blood and everything. More than slightly panicked, he attempted to get up, but the poison combined with his injuries just wouldn't allow him.

"Shhh, stay still. You'll make your injuries worse when they're just beginning to heal." he insists quietly, moving his painted hand to a new wound, easing the worst edge of the pain before he moves his bloody and painted hand to paint the injury on his own flesh, transferring some part of the injury to himself.

He was still worried and in pain. But Franklin started to calm down, but there are things he wanted to know. "I... yeah, ok. Did we win? What about Cassie? Is Rachel fine too?"

"Rachel is being brought now, and is next in line. The ritual failed and the creatures fled, but I am not entirely sure I would call what we did winning. Cassie is stable." he responds, trying to maintain his focus, and take the pain and poison from another wound.

"All right," Franklin replied. He calmed down more, knowing that things were going to be fine. He was irritated that Skarpirus escaped, that was fine. Lucas looked like he needed to concentrate, and Franklin tried to let him do just that.

With Franklin calmed, the process is much faster. By the end, Franklin is still bad - he's going to need time to heal, but its not critical, and he should be able to walk, at least. Any more than that would tax Lucas' own body too much to be able to heal others much right now.

"Bring her into the circle, I can deal with the poison. Just step back as soon as she's in here. If you have any first aid training, the people in the staging area could use help."

Lucas starts by carefully removing cloth from the wounds, cleaning them what little he can easily and quickly, then begins chanting anew, finding the site with the most obvious depth and rubbing the pigments into it, drawing venom to the surface in a sudden violent gush.
When he draws his stained hand back to himself, he smears blood and venom and paints onto his own flesh, drawing the worst of the damage away from Rachel and into himself.

Rachel felt herself healing, much past anything she could have done herself.

"Lucas..." she breathed, afraid for his own health if he took too much upon himself.

"Shhh, its alright. I'm protected from the poison, and can heal myself more easily than others. Its the fastest way to heal so many. You are not free of the poison yet."
He chants again, moving to the next wound, there are more people still, so he can't linger overlong with any one person.

He nods. "Where does it hurt? I'm working on the obvious injuries, but as badly poisoned as you are, I want to make sure I have it all." he asks as he paints his stomach a little further, easing more of the pain from her before shifting back to attempting to clean her wounds a little better.

He nods, tearing her sleeve further open, chanting as he begins painting her arm with the pigments, then paints over his own arm, one of his scars opening a little as the painted wounds crosses over the same spot as another mark. He ignores it, continuing to work, making sure to draw all the venom from the injury.
