Okay, so for those of you who are second (or third or whatever) generation in the super-biz, how old were you when you found out about your parents being super-types?   You can talk about how too, if you want.

I think I was... young.  Nine, ten or so.  Probably younger than I should have known.  But my parents, along with Ri's, figured we'd end up rummaging and finding some bit of evidence anyway, so they sat down and told us.  It kinda explained things like "Uncle Guy" or our friendship with the Reyes a lot better.

I was three. It's a long story involving me highjacking a car.

Pretty much as far back as I can remember, really. Don't think it was ever really a secret.

I had SHIELD gym shirts for jammies growing up. Still do.

Mom and Dad aren't super-types, though. Just heroes.

I always knew my parents were metas, but I didn't know that Uncle Jaime was Blue Beetle until I was...seven? I think I was seven.

I always knew. My dad wears spandex under his loincloth and everyone knows him as 'the Atom'.

...It's entirely possible that I would have been born in my mother's laboratory if one of my eventual-dads had not removed the components from her hands and recruited some of the other scientists to help him carry her out of the room.

I spent /years/ thinking I was going to marry Superman and telling everyone I knew about it. Each week, I came to the dinner table with a new theory on who Superman might be. Possible identities were Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Great Pumpkin.

I never understood why Jon was always laughing at me or why Mom and Dad got this weird look on their face when I said that I was going to bring home Superman to meet them.

When I was nine, Dad sat me down and told me the truth.

I think I locked myself in my room for three or four hours that day and spent the whole time crying from embarrassment.

After that, though, I was proud that Superman was my dad.
