Your mission, should you choose to accept it.....
About a half-hour after he had overhead Steve and Anya's conversation, the Avengers get a message from Charlie on their comms.

"We've got a situation, team. Steve and Anya's futures are at stake here. Drop whatever it is you're doing and meet me in the lobby. Now." And yes, when Charlie uses a stern tone of voice it means that he means BUSINESS.

They'll find Charlie waiting the lobby, tapping his foot impatiently, keys to one of the Quinjets in one hand...and a list of the most popular quick 'n speedy wedding chapels in Las Vegas in another.

James came running into the foyer. "What's going on? What happened to Anya and Steve?" James of course was in uniform.

Toni had gotten to the lobby so fast she was reasonably certain she'd gone the straight line way there and left a Toni-shaped hole in several walls behind her.

Anya was in trouble. She was going to be there.

"What's going on?"

"No, they haven't been kidnapped," Charlie said, "And Shrimp...you don't need the uniform." The look on his face is stern, serious. "I overheard a conversation between Steve and Anya earlier this afternoon. About a half-hour ago." He inhaled. "Steve and Anya ran off to Vegas to elope."

Yes, that look on his face is dead serious.

"No joke, Toni," Charlie said, "He's my best friend, and he's about to do something stupid. Anya's a great girl, and she's like my sister, and while yes, they are in love and do bring out the best in each other as a couple, they are far too young for marriage."

"I left Tony and Tasha a voicemail," he said, "He'll pass the message on to Clint and Bobbi. Better we crash then angered parents anyway. And Steve will basically go along with anything that Anya puts him up to."

He hates to disappoint his friends, but the Eternals have a long history of non-involvement with matters involving human law and contracts, including war, and in this case, contracts of marriage. If invited, he'll accompany, but he's currently making no move like he's going to be any help.
