Twin's Tea Party

Summary It's Ella and Jenny's birthday!

Ella and Jenny had cleared a big space in their doorm room, pushing all their furniture to the sides and creating a sizeable area to hopefully hold all their guests. There were little tables holding cupcakes and cookies, tiny triangle shaped sandwiches and an assortment of charming teapots and cups. They had all sorts of tea and they were charmed to stay warm.

A faint cloud of steam hung in the air and gave everything a magical feeling, coupled with bunches of balloons floating across the ceiling. Sitting next to each other in the centre of a table were two very different birthday cakes for each of the twins. Later on they had big squishy pillows and beanbags for the slumber party-goers to lounge on whilst eating popcorn and watching movies. Having everything prepared, the twins waited to welcome their guests.

Wearing his navy Dolce & Gabbana suit and carrying two birthday cards, each stuffed with a hundred dollar bill, Jake knocked on the twin’s door and stepped inside.

He looked around and smiled, seeing little tables crammed with cupcakes, cookies, teapots and triangular sandwiches, “It’s all very Alice in Wonderland, girls! I love it!”, he commented, handing them their cards.

Ella and Jenny both looked adorable, as usual, and Jake had to give them a huge smile as he exclaimed, “Happy Birthday, you guys!” Being a guy, he had to ask, “Can I get a couple’a hugs?”

Jenny had been greeting people as they got there, although her mind had been mostly elsewhere. She kept up occasional glances in Sera's direction where she sat with Meka, smiling at her, and glad to have her be here. Even if not everyone could know about them just yet, it meant a lot to Jenny to have her sort of girlfriend here with her.

When Jake arrived, Jenny got up from where she had been sitting and talking with someone else, excusing herself to make her way over. "It took forever to get it like this, not looking forward to putting everywhere back where it was," she replied, grinning and taking the card from him.

Glancing at Ella beside her, Jenny raised her eyebrows. "I guess we could give him a hug or two, maybe?" she joked.

Ella grinned at Jake and turned to Jenny innocently. "We canjust shoveit all under the bed, who needs to put everything back?"

Ella opened the card excitedly and her mouth dropped open. "Holy shit!" She then clasped a hand over her mouth, she didn't usually swear, but one hundred bucks, holy shit.

"Hell yeah, hugs all round" she agreed, squeezing Jake into a massive bear hug.

Jake chuckled at Ella's reaction to the money in the card and then he blushed, "I wanted to put more in there, but my mom said it would be too show-offy...ummm, or somethin' like that."

When Ella wrapped him up into a bear hug, Jake's cheeks went crimson and his smile went from ear to ear, "Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about!", he teased.

"I don't even know what I'd buy with that much money" she laughed, slightly muffled as her head was squished when Jenny went in for a hug.

"What kind of tea do you want? We've even got iced tea...somewhere." She stared at the crowded tables and thought that maybe labelling all the teapots would have been wise.

Jake gave Ella a confused look and blurted out, "Really?" Having a father who was a billionaire had made him a bit jaded when it came to money; he got more than $100.00 for his allowance. Of course he wouldn't tell the girls that. His mom had suggested the amount for putting inside the cards. Maybe she knew best from growing up before marrying his dad.

"Ooooo!", Jake exclaimed, "Do you have any peppermint tea? I love that!" He looked at everything they had placed out, "Everything looks really yummy. You guys did a wonderful job."

Ella gave Jake's hair an affectionate ruffle and skipped over to the table, shaking a few pots up to her ear and sniffing them curiously.

"This one" she said, pouring a cup and passing it to the blonde boy. "There is a ninety percent chance it's peppermint" she joked.

Jake’s face lit up with a blush and a bright smile when Ella mussed his hair; she couldn’t know it, but he loved to have his hair played with. He watched her curiously as she moved from pot to pot, wondering what listening to the pots did for deciding what was inside. He finally stopped trying to figure it out and chalked it up to a ‘twin thing’.

Taking the cup carefully, Jake took a sip and cheerfully pronounced, “Peppermint!”. He chuckled at Ella’s joke and decided he was very glad he was invited to this tea party. He also had the bizarre stray thought that Jenny and Ella looked more like his siblings than his own brothers did.

Making conversation, Jake asked, “Soooo, what lucky guys are you girls dating, Ella?”

Jenny scowled a little at both Jake and Ella's suggestions to leave the mess alone. As if she'd ever be able to let that happen. She dreaded the work, but she'd be glad to have the room back to normal tomorrow. "I can't study in a clutter, it'll have to go back," she admitted, opening her own card.

When she did, and spotted the cash inside, she mimicked her sister's action and grabbed Jake into a hug too. She had both him and Ella squashed into it, and she was grinning widely. "I told you nothing too much, you're crazy," she teased him. "Thank you!"

Jake grinned at Jenny, loving the fact that she was a little OCD about keeping everything neat and in it's place. It was so cute how different the girls were.

"You're welcome!", Jake laughed out, in Heaven that he was in a hug with both sisters. "Don't worry about hurting me, girls! Squeeze as tight as you want!", he teased.

Sam was excited for the tea party although formal was never really his thing. He had brought his gifts for Jenny and Ella. The whole set up pretty charming and he couldn't help but think no one other than the twins could put together something like this.

Yev, as always before social situations, was nervous as he finished up wrapping the presents he had gotten for Ella and Jenny. He gave the girl's door a nervous knock for entering their room. There were already quite a few people mulling around so Yev placed the presents on a table and stood nervously in his usual stance, hands in his pockets and bag slung over his shoulder.

Janis tried to sneak into the party as quietly and properly as she could. Which was, well to be honest. Never an effective measure for her. Between her hair and whatever she had on under her sweater she would have hidden better in a pile of cotton candy than a proper party. Either way she brought cupcakes as gifts for the twins.

Now her real mission had began. Find the tea, and fill the bottom with as much sugar as god above might allow.

vShe was right, it was nearly impossible to miss Janis Parke. Apple had been at the twins tea party for a little while now, just long enough to give Jenny and Ella their presents and to socialize a bit. When he saw Janis enter he couldn't help but bounce over to her and sling am arm around her shoulder. "You look fantastic today Jan Jan," he complimented her with a big grin.

"Thanks!" he said brightly. "I had to borrow the tie from Forest," he laughed a bit adjusting said tie and puffing out his chest a little. He was really glad to see her out of her room but he didn't want to bring it up just in case he scared her back into self imprisonment. "Great tea party right?" he asked looking around at the decorations.

"Ooo! You might like black tea," he said pointing out the pot of tea he had drank from earlier. "Sugar and creme is very nice in a black tea," he grinned. "And of course you get to stick your pinky out, it's only the fanciest thing to do at a tea party ever," he grinned, grabbing a cup for her.

It wasn't long after the boys were gone that Sunny was already in her pajamas and snuggling up with her otter. It was nice to finally have a girl's night, it seemed a little overdue with all the drama going around school.

Meka had been having a blast at the twin's tea party. It was a nice break from all the drama and to see everyone relaxing. She had taken a little break from to retrieve some of the pocky she had brought to the party.
