Battle At The End of Time
The YJLA and the Avengers had a busy week. They had been searching the globe for signs of Kang all week, but no trace of the time-traveling conqueror could be found. The people who attacked the YJLA seemed to have disappeared into thin air as well. It had been a quiet week for both teams. Little did they know it was the calm before the storm.

The two teams met at the YJLA headquarters for a brief meeting to go over the results of their searches and to lay plans for the upcoming days. Both teams were gathered in the conference room when there was a bright flash and they were all transported to a spot some distance away from Kang's Fortress at the End of Time.

It was time to fight what should be the final battle in this adventure.

Seeing what Traya is doing, Michael uses his knowledge of buildings to create a small structure around Alina, a small metal box with insulated sides, a way to draw the lightning away from Alina and keep her safe.

'Well, this is certainly a bind you're in, kid.'

"Oh, now you decide to show up!"

'Happy to see you, too, kid,' the voice chuckled.

"Good for you. Can you help or are you gonna be useless again?"

'I'll try to help, but I don't know what I can do against this guy. But I would think taking out the supports on those bots would be a good idea.'

Michael, watching the bots blast while behind their shields, decides to make the ground under the nearest one a five foot deep pool of liquid nitrogen.

	As Michael and the others start making headway against the robots, Jon crashes through the wall near Kang. Its only a momentary distraction - he's quickly being attacked by five of the robots and kept well away from Kang - but forces are divided, and however briefly, Kang's attention turns away from coordinating the robots. 	Suddenly less smug, Kang turns, briefly looking away from the battle. His robots are still no pushovers, but they briefly lose the coordination between robots, and the electricity, mostly taken care of by Michael, now stops entirely. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Its fitting that, with all the teamwork, it should be the son of Captain America that reaches him. 'Ported past his shields, the attack strikes home, slamming Kang hard into his own force field. Thanks to his armor, he's not out, but he does drop to a knee, trying to shake off the blow. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	From this distance, it'll be a tricky shot, but Michael is sure he can do it. Concentrating on the purple armor (all the while thinking 'Purple? Why the hell is it purple') he feels the same weirdness about the armor as he did about the shoe. But he can still work... In an instant, the metal armor encasing the man is now polyester. "NOW!" 	No force field, no armor, and fighting a far superior physical combatant - Kang goes down hard. When he does, the Kangbots all power down as well. Clearly he hadn't expected anyone to get to him. (Reply to this)(Parent)
