Stick to the script Foxy
Robin decides to do one last sweep of the neighbourhood he's in before calling it a night. It's been pretty quiet, especially given that this isn't exactly one of the nicer neighbourhoods, and it's looking like he'll wrap up patrol early.

For fun he does a double flip to land on the next roof and is about to take off at a run to try and do the same for his next jump when he stops in his tracks, and stares at the bleeding figure on the rooftop for a long moment.

Was that?

No. Oh no.

And Robin takes off at a mad dash.

	"Got caught off guard," she licked her lower lip. "Didn't.... not as good as the other guy." She winces trying to push up so she can sit but the wound going through her is enough to stop that. "First, stop moving. I need you still to check how bad it is." He moves her hands away so he can inspect the wound as best he can given the circumstances. "Bullet exited but you need help. I'm going to move you okay? Now answer the questions while we go: Who? Where were you? What was this about? And is there a chance they're nearby?"

He nees her awake and talking might keep her mind off it just a little. Quickly pulling out some gauze from his belt, he uses it to stop the bleeding as best he can. It's only temporary and he's well aware of it. Robin picks her up, she's rather light even with the uniform, to start making their way to somewhere he can give her the help she needs.

	"Some kind of high priced security," she groans in pain. "I was in a mark's flat. We're far enough off that the security shouldn't be giving chase." She can stay awake. "I put some gauze on that too. It'll hold till we can get you somewhere where I can do a better job. Just stay awake." There was no might about it, stitches for both her leg and her side were needed. But they'll get to that later. First...where to take her? He's been finding out some of her safehouses but none he knows of are nearby and even if she did tell him of one she might pass out before they got there and she could give him further instructions. The hospital was too far so...there was no way around it. The safehouse two blocks away would have to do.

"Security shot you? Which flat is this?" Because shoot on site mark for a mob thief? Well that meant all sorts of danger. Not just of what she might have been stealing, but what her employer hoped to achieve by hitting such a well secured place. Nothing good that's for sure.

	"Give you the details latter," she groaned. "Place is a freakin' deathtrap on top of that security guard. Way harder than I expected. Would have gotten in and out just fine if that guard hadn't seen me. He was good." She's unhappy and in pain. She also knows she's too far from her nearest safehouse to try directing him there. 	He asks only for the sake of covering all his bases, but unless she had one within a block or so it'd be useless. "Do you have a safehouse nearby?" He's moving at a steady run now, trying to not aggravate her wounds but he knows it doesn't help that much. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Okay we'll go somewhere else," he grunts. Right now he's running through all the problems with bringing her to a bat safehouse. And all the contingencies and all the things he'll need to do. But the priority is the get her patched up and not keep her bleeding out like this.

It's not long before they get there and he sneaks in. It's one of the smaller safehouses, mostly made for a breather or emergency situations. There's no computer or anyfiles he'll need to wipe so at least that's the silver lining.

Putting her down on the small bed in the corner he says very seriously, "Don't move." Then he'll be rushing over for the first aid kit and the supplies he'll need to stitch up her wounds.

	At least she isn't fighting him. She has to trust him right now. She sort of does based on the times they've run into each other. "Like I can," She grunts at him. She does though move her arm so she can start unhitching some of her straps so he'll be able to deal with her wounds properly. If he gets mad well, she'll just deal. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

While getting the supplies Thomas silently hopes she doesn't later use the knowledge of this place against him. He'll have to shut it down, wipe the place, tell the others not to go here, and realize he just cost them all a safehouse that could've been life-saving one day. He doesn't think she'll sell him out, not her style and...well he doesn't trust her exactly but it just didn't seem like something she'd do. Professionals tended to have at least some sense of...oh god was he going to just go against the silly "Honour among thieves thing"? Great. But right now he needs to keep her from, quite frankly, bleeding to death here.

He goes back and notices she's undone some of her uniform, it makes his job easier at least. Pulling off his gloves and putting on the ones from the first aid kit he tells her, "Alright stay still. This'll hurt I'm sure you know."

	Well she won't betray him. Not if it can be helped and no one ever has to know he took her here to patch her up. With her that saying actually applies, she likes to think she can do the right thing when it comes to some stuff. "Yeah I know. I've given myself stitches before," she agrees. "I'll be good. 	He doesn't know that and while he's pretty sure she won't...he can't ever be certain. He wishes he could though, but he'll push those worries aside right now. "Try not to though." 	"First time huh? Well take it from me, you're lucky the bullet still isn't there. And more than one hitting you in an evening is worse. You got off pretty lightly all things considered." "And what place is this exactly?" He pulls off the gloves now that he's finished and packs the equipment away. But right now he's thinking that he needs to figure out what this place is hiding and what the mob might be interested in there. They might have just sent her after the wine as recon. And a part of him wants to try the security out for himself. Even with the gun-toting guards.

	"Noted." He'll spend a lot of time scoping out the place before he'll even make an attempt. If she could end up like this well...he might end up the same. He gets up to put away the first aid and comes back with a few morphine pills and a glass of water. "Here. Dangerous jobs your employer sends you on, maybe you should look into a new one." He gives her a concerned frown. "Why not? You're a professional you said. Once the job is done, it's done. Find a new employer. I mean...look what happened tonight." He's assuming there's a free-lance aspect to her work. After all, just because she was working for the mob now didn't mean she would always do so. The rules of the mafia always applied a bit differently to thieves.

	"Yeah, I got cocky," she gripes slowly. Then she shakes her head. "I would if I could. would be nice to do a job I felt was worth the effort." She's not happy about her situation.
